“Beautiful bird's-eye view of Vallarta”

Reviewed 13 Mar 2014

We stayed in Casa Celeste for a week in January 2014. It's in a terrific location just above the Zona Romantica, a quick walk to the restaurants, bars and beach. The place is gorgeous with glass walls that completely open up onto a large terrace, really giving you indoor-outdoor living. The decor is sumptuous with beautiful details and art work. Fabulous lighting indoor and outside makes it a beautiful place to enjoy a sunset cocktail or a midnight snack! Even though it's relatively small, it's the perfect size for a couple for a week's stay or longer. There is a small but very functional kitchen, cute living area with TV and great king size bed. The housekeeper had chips and guacamole waiting for us when we arrived. She does a wonderful job of keeping it clean. Additionally, it seems that most of the guests at Casa Celeste have treated it with care -- there is very little wear and tear that you see with most rentals. Things to keep in mind: - the condo is at the top of a very steep hill and is at the top of a 5 floor building with only stairs. If you have issues with walking or stairs it might not be for you. I had to abandon wearing any wedges or heels for dinner just because I didn't want to somersault down the hill. Fortunately, flip flops work perfectly just about everywhere in PV. - Roosters. Lots of roosters in the surrounding yards. White noise app on your phone will take care of it. Just wish I'd figured it out earlier in the trip. - The room gets very bright in the morning. Bring eye shades if you are a late sleeper. Things we loved: - Pretty much everything else. - Jeffery's restaurant list and recommendations. - The view! - The terrace was da bomb. We loved this place so much we have recommended it to several people already. You won't be sorry!

“Fantastic View!”

Reviewed 4 Mar 2014

We loved the property. The design detail and decorating were fantastic. The short walk to the malecon, the river, and the tequila tasting rooms gave us our daily exercise. We loved the hill and the stairs! The view from the unit was incredible. The place had every amenity we needed. We spent most of our time in the pool. The weather was fantastic. Even when we had a light rain, we stayed in the pool under the overhang. And our multiple dinners at the nearby El palomar de los gonzalez restaurants were wonderful.

“Fabulous Views & Comfort”

Reviewed 18 Dec 2013

We enjoyed Thanksgiving week at Casa Celeste. The views are fabulous and the unit was small, but extremely comfortable. Half of the exterior walls retract to create a true indoor/outdoor living experience. Weather was warm so the small private pool was welcome relief. Know that there are quite a few steps to climb to this penthouse-level unit ... just consider it a daily forced cardio workout and you'll be fine! Although annoying at times, we actually enjoyed the chorus of three neighborhood roosters and a parrot trying to cockadoodle too! The location is truly only a 10-minute walk (downhill) to the Romantic Zone and Los Muertos Beach. (After a couple return (uphill) walks, we decided the $5 taxi fare was well worth it! Pv is a fun, safe vacation destination with a diverse selection of great restaurants, nightlife and daytime activities.

“Case Celeste wonderful!”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2013

Just one word describes our stay at Case Celeste "wonderful"!. Everyone and everything was great. Ricardo and Maria were so sweet. Sarah was awesome was booking the reservations. Everything was as described on the website. If you get a chance please visit this location you will not be disappointed. Thinking of booking Casa Celeste and Casa alegre for a friends 45th birthday celebration.

“Beautiful top class retreat for a couple”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2013

We stayed at Casa Celeste for a week in July 2013. It was an outstanding experience. We took advantage of the airport pickup and grocery service. Ricardo picked us up and was a gracious support right away. When we arrived at the casa, it was in amazing condition and you cant imagine the beautiful views and complete privacy. The patio with grill, dining table and private pool were perfect. The location was central yet private and the neighbors friendly. Gloria, the housekeeper was fantastic. We could not have enjoyed Casa Celeste more! I highly recommend for a couple seeking a beautiful, high quality condo with exquisite finishes and privacy with walking distance to all restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.

Response from the manager Scott, Many thanks for staying with us and for taking the time to let others know about your holiday experience. I agree that Celeste has some of the best views in town! It sounds like you made the most of the outdoor living space with the pool time and outdoor cooking and dining. We pride ourselves on having the best staff in town so I´m glad that came through for you. Hopefully your next trip to Vallarta is not too far off! Be sure to be in touch when it is time to book your accommodation. Jeffery

“Best condo so far!”

Reviewed 13 Dec 2012

Stayed in Casa Celeste and it was everything the pictures said it would be and more. Definitely a hike to get up there but so worth it. You can't have a view like that without working a little bit after all. We really loved staying in the residential area and felt like we saw much more of Mexico than those who just stayed at a resort. I will be recommending this condo to anyone I know headed for Puerto Vallarta!

“A Little Piece of Heaven”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2012

We recently spent 10 glorious days at Casa Celeste. The condo is decorated to perfection and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. The view from this condo is spectacular both day and night. We loved all the lighting, which made for a very romantic setting. The kitchen was perfect and I was able to cook very lovely meals during our stay! Thank-you for the pre-stock of groceries - it made our first day very easy! Many thanks to Jeffery Hill and his staff for making our stay perfect in every way. This little home away from home, makes you want for nothing! We plan on returning next year!

“10 Star experience! Staying here made our whole trip to PV.”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2012

Can't say enough nice things about this property and Jeffrey. Every detail has been considered. Very romantic and posh. It is as you see in the photos (even better!) - I think everyone has walked into a hotel or vacation home somewhere and found that the photos are not representative of the actual property. At Casa Celeste, the longer we were there the more impressed we were with the thought that went into the furnishings. The pool was the perfect size for a dip after dinner and watching the sun go down. The views are amazing. One day we thought - wouldn't it be great to have some binoculars - and of course there were binoculars right where you'd think they would be. The bed is high enough to stash your luggage underneath so that you're not tripping over it. Could go on here for pages about all the good things. Tip - have the chef leave some meals for you. We arranged for some snacks and/or a couple of light meals in case we didn't feel like going out. The food we found in the fridge was better the restaurants. Fantastic place! Completely ruined us for other properties. The following month we stayed at a supposedly high end/expensive property in Paris and what a let down after Casa Celeste. Jeffrey - please open more properties around the world!!! Ps - there are rooster(s) around the property - plural. They talk to each other all day, beginning at dawn, they stop at dusk... We really enjoyed them and think it's relaxing but if it's going to bother you then pack some ear plugs - or stay at a resort where you don't have to see or hear any local flavor.

“Greatest Week of Our Lives!”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2012

You have no idea how great this place is until you arrive. I've never taken a trip where I wasn't on the go constantly. But upon arriving, we made the choice that this was going to be a relaxing trip because paradise was inside the walls of our room! Aside from our surroundings being a small slice of heaven, Jeffery really goes the extra mile as a host. We were pleasantly surprised to find a congratulations cake and bottle of champagne in the fridge in honor of us having just gotten married. It was like we were staying a close friend's home. We lived in our private pool, grilled fresh, local food everyday, and were close to any place we may have wanted to see. The neighborhood is perfect as you live amongst the locals. No tourist bussle which we loved. We are already looking for opportunities to return!
