“A Piece of Heaven on The Big Island”
I have been to Kona many times but never have experienced the beautiful setting that was Condo #5. We were immediately charmed by the decor and the views from the unit that were spectacular! The trail down to the adjacent beach was perfect for a walk or to enjoy the beautiful sunsets that came every night. The proximity to all the Big Island has to offer was a bonus. Sally our hostess gave us a feeling that we were welcome in so many ways. From the info sheet on things to do in the area and the ability to call her at anytime with questions. The house was so well stocked, you really lacked for nothing. Even beach chairs, boogie boards and a surfboard were available for the guests to use. We will be back for sure!!!!!!
“Beautiful Ocean Front Townhouse”
My family and I enjoyed staying at Keauhou Kona #5 Townhouse. The Townhome was very well maintained. The two-story unit was very stylish with new granite countertops. We very much enjoyed the lanai and being so close to the ocean. The beach was not crowded and we saw turtles everyday. What I liked best about the location was that we felt isolated from all the traffic, yet there many nice restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls close to the townhouse. Sally is so kind and so very helpful. Thank you again Sally!!! The Kramers
“Relaxing vacation in a newly renovated Condo on a semi-secluded”
Beautiful condo within the well kept Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. The condo has an incredible location just 20 feet from the beach by private pathway. The black sand beach is home to several sea turtles that make there way up onto the shore to sunbathe during high tide. Short 10 minute walk to grocery store and restaurants, and shuttles leave hourly into town from the adjacent hotel. Would highly recommend staying at this hidden gem.
“A Perfect Getaway from a Northern winter”
This is our second visit to #5 and the fourth at the Surf and Racquet Club. This location is perfect for us being so close to the ocean and shops. It is just a 10 minute drive into Kona and a 10 minute walk to a fantastic snorkelling and surfing bay. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated and there is a new large flat screen television in the lounge. We also appreciate the free WiFi internet and long distance telephone calling to Canada and the USa. We are coming here again next year.
What a delightful place to be on Kona---close to everything, but away from it all at the same time. Every morning we are up skirting the golf courses at dawn and end up up at the bakery picking up yummy treats for breakfast which we enjoy while sitting out on the patio watching the dolphins swim by---almost daily. And the snorkelling out front is so clear that I feel like I'm flying over the coral and lava...love it!
“Wow. Incredible Oceanfront Location.”
You won't find a better location than this. We love having our meals on the lanai and sitting on the beach with a glass of wine for the sunsets. The townhouse has been recently remodeled and is probably one of the best units in Keauhou. The kitchen and bathrooms have granite counters and nice cabinets and there are plenty of pots and pans, dishes, glasses, etc. for home cooked meals. We have stayed at this unit many times, and look forward to many more wonderful vacations. Thank you, Sally!
This was the 2nd occasion that we stayed in this unit. It was recently updated and is very well equipped. It is in a perfect location , right on the beach, close to shopping. The pool and tennis courts are great. The grounds are well maintained. We have recommended this unit to friends and others traveling to Kona.We love this area and plan to return again soon.
“Great location, sea and sunset views and excellent value”
This townhome has everything you want in a Kona vacation rental. It is right in the Keahou beach, just a little south of turtle beach so you get the occasional turtle on shore, great westerly sea views, well equipped kitchen and all towels and linens are provided so you do not have to bring your own. Sally was really easy to deal with, once you have paid you balance she will send you the key and instructions to the home. We had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Kona.
Excellent location near the water, loved the beautiful sunset views. Comfortable beds and nice new linens. Quiet and peaceful resort.
On short notice I got an invitation to stay at this wonderful destination, and decided in December with cheap airfares that the offer was too good to pass up. What a great decision! Total relaxation --- sounds of the surf, palm trees, a private sandy/rocky beach adjacent to the unit (it's on the edge of the development!). I like to cook and found the kitchen well equipped to handle my demands. I *did* swim with the sea turtles just up the street and it was great to walk there with just a snorkel, fins and a towel (provided in the unit). How about coffee--- just a short drive away to the best Kona coffee plantations. Not much further to Volcano Nat'l Park, which we also visited. Basically... you gotta go
