Sunset Ridge Villa B is a deluxe level 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse villa offering approximately 1800 s.f. of combined living space. Villa A features a secure, street level entrance through lush tropical gardens opening to a private courtyard with dramatic and panoramic ocean views. The courtyard has lounge chairs for private sunbathing, casual seating areas, a patio table with umbrella and chairs, and a gas BBQ -- an ideal venue for morning coffee, afternoon sundowner cocktails or enjoying alfresco dining under the stars!
From the private courtyard there are separate, secure entrances to the main house and the Master Bedroom Suite. All bedroom and great room furnishings have been recently replaced with new Caribbean styled furniture. The main house features a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary amenities which is perfect for preparing light snacks to full family meals. The great room features two separate sliding glass and screen doors which provide for a light and airy feeling throughout and when opened, the cooling trade wind breezes permeate the living spaces. The dining area has seating for six and is located adjacent to the cozy living room where guests will enjoy a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, love seat and flat screen TV with cable television service and DVD player. Completing the lower level living space is a powder room bath located adjacent to the kitchen which includes an en suite stacked washer and dryer. The bedroom sleeping area located in a 'loft' area in the main house includes two queen beds and en suite bathroom with tiled walk-in shower. Access to the loft bedroom is via an exquisitely designed mahogany staircase from the great room area.
The Master Bedroom suite is located across the private courtyard from the main house and features a comfortable king-sized bed, en suite bath with tiled walk-in shower, TV with cable service and a DVD player. Sliding glass and screen doors open from the bedroom to small covered private patio which is perfect for relaxing and taking in the awe- inspiring views as well as allowing the cooling trade wind breezes to circulate throughout the bedroom. The master bedroom is air conditioned with its own individually controlled split system. There are ceiling fans throughout the villa and floor/table fans are provided in the great room and bedrooms to insure maximum air flow for comfort and relaxation.
Sunset Ridge Villas features a large centrally located stamped-brick pool deck with numerous lounge chairs for sunbathing together with shaded, deck tables and chairs which are perfect for relaxing with a cold drink, reading a book or just becoming mesmerized by the panoramic and inspiring views of the Caribbean Sea. Sunset Ridge Villas has one of the largest swimming pools on St. John which features a salt water chlorination system and a built-in fountain/kiddie pool. The pool is private and only shared with the other 5 villas at Sunset Ridge Villas. As with most of the other areas at this outstanding resort, the pool and deck is another perfect spot for unwinding and enjoying the sunset with other residents and guests after a day of exploring St. John!
Villa B has an assigned off-street parking area adjacent to the front entry to the villa. Beach chairs, coolers and beach towels are provided for trips to the world-famous beaches of St. John, most of which are located within the boundaries of the Virgin Islands National Park. The accommodations at Sunset Ridge Villas offer privacy with panoramic ocean views along with the convenience of being close to Cruz Bay with a variety of options for fine/casual dining, entertainment, and eclectic duty-free shopping. “Comfortable and private”
The villa was perfect for a family with older children . Very well equiped and the view from the pool was simply breathtaking. The villas need fresh paint and tithe inside court needs painting as well. The cooling dip pool was not very inviting with chipped black paint. A pool net to scrap out the bugs in each unit would have been helpful. I also feel my unit needed some landscaping in front. There was brown dirt which took away from the entrance. Despite these comments I would return the staff was great and the proximity to town and the beaches can't be beat
“Peaceful and Charming Setting”
We were welcomed at the ferry landing by Chris of Cimmarron and followed him to our villa - very spacious 2 bedroom and 2 and half bath - where he explained all we needed to know. The villa was very clean, a welcome bag of goodies with Cruz rum,beverages and snacks was very thoughtful. The kitcken, living room faced the carribbean; so did the master bedroom and the open air court yard. The washer and dryer in the villa was very handy. The court yard had a wade pool, a barbecue and lots of chairs and table. In the villa we had beach chairs and coolers to take with us to the beautiful beaches on St John. I loved the 50 feet pool overlooking Cruz bay. Every night we were able to sleep with the doors open and using the screened doors. I liked everything about the resort. We shopped at the Marina Market - great seafood and meat - across from the Red Hook ferry dock before we took the ferry from St Thomas. Our week was busy on St John. It is also a great place to hop to the neighbouring Bristish Virgin islands. All the beaches on St John were very nice: St Francise Bay, Hawksnest, Maho Bay, etc. All in all, Sunset Ridge was very clean, comfortable and peaceful and beautiful views.We think that Sunset Ridge is the best place to stay on St John. Though we must admit that getting to the villa is not for the faint of heart and it is for a reason that the road is called "jacobs ladder".

Spacious, well maintained villas. Each villa has two separate buildings affording great privacy for two couples. Well appointed, tastefull furnishings, ample kitchens. Beautiful, large swimming pool with magnificent views. Great sunset viewing.
