“Great Family Retreat!”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2016

We were looking for a place to hold our family retreat not too far away from the city life but secluded enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and this cabin was the perfect spot! We had planned on taking some time away for other winter activities but ended up not leaving and we stayed close to the cabin for sledding, snow shoeing and other snow activities. It was spacious so the 15 people in our group were accommodated easily. I especially like how the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, making food prep easy, unlike the other places we have stayed where the kitchen are sparsely stocked. The we all loved having the wild life so close, but the children found that a special treat. The owner was great to work also. We definitely will recommend this to friends.

Response from the owner Thanks! We loved having you there, too!!!

“AMAZING CABIN! Great location, couldn't ask for anything better!”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2015

The owner was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! It was wonderful for the large group that we had. Especially having the 2 kitchens, and the large family rooms. The location was great, as we went and hiked Stewart Falls just above Sundance Resort and then floated the Provo River in rafts, all within just minutes of the cabin. We were able to have a group fire pit at the park just below the cabin by the river. The wild life of rabbits, peacocks, turkeys and deer around the cabin made it fun especially for the youth of the group. Would love to stay there again and would highly recommend it.

“Wonderful Weekend!”

Fantastic canyon location, great for a family reunion or getaway with friends.

“A golden weekend of family and friends in an idyllic setting”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2013

This cabin provided the perfect landing pad for a long weekend with friends. The accommodations were spacious, well stocked, and we loved the open living room and kitchen. The cabin comfortably sleeps large groups (we had 4 families), and the setting was absolutely idyllic: nestled into scenic Provo Canyon. We had three young children under 6 who loved the neighboring swingsets and zip line. They could have been content playing on the front yard all weekend, but were eventually convinced to venture out to explore the many nearby attractions (we hit Bridalveil falls, Provo Rec Center, and Timpanogas Caves on short outings). The big front deck area was great for outdoor meals and chats. The big, open living room was appreciated by our large group, especially at night with the windows open to enjoy the crisp mountain breezes and symphony of crickets. A great setting, and incredible value.

“Beautiful!”

Great location, all the amenities you'd ever need, and a quiet atmosphere. Perfect for a family getaway or reunion. The drive up the canyon was stunning. I'll definitely return!

“Wonderful Weeekend”

Close and easy to get to. The cabin is large and very well equipped. Kitchens are great. We love the peacocks and wild turkeys, squirrels, deer, etc. in the front yard.

“Wonderful for the whole family!”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2013

Our stay at the cabin was a wonderful Christmastime get together for the whole family. There was plenty of room for all 13 of us and there was plenty to keep us all occupied, both children and adults. What a beautiful setting for a cabin.

“Great Writers Retreat”

Reviewed 9 Mar 2012

I live in Utah Valley, but stayed here for a week to work on a writing project. It was like heaven on earth, to use a non-writerly cliche! I made great progress on my work -- the quiet and peace clear mountain air surrounded me in inspiration. Not to mention the peacocks and moose! It was great to be able to run down the mountain if I needed to tend to every day business, but what a great sanctuary. So close, but really a world apart. Plus the cabin itself is lovely, comfortable, and high class. Highly recommended.

“Gorgeous”

Reviewed 22 Nov 2011

An amazing property in a beautiful canyon. I love the fact that house is soundproof and cozy. The high ceilings upstairs and the great layout all make it a beautiful place to escape either alone or with family. I wish I could live there all year round.
