Description
Cortijo El Ejido provides two self contained two bedroom ground floor spacious apartments sleeping four persons in each. They can be rented independently or as one large apartment sleeping eight. In addition we can cater for an additional two people on foldaway futon beds. The prices shown are for both apartments. Please contact the owner for the price for just one of the apartments.
Cortijo El Ejido is an architecturally designed property built to the highest standards of design and construction. The design combines the traditional style of the local Berber houses with a modern contemporary twist. The two apartments are linked by a double height internal courtyard to the rear. The courtyard enables the two apartments to be used as one large unit for eight people.
Built with local materials and white washed walls the Cortijo is light, airy and very spacious. Both have black slate floors, cool modern furniture, top notch wet rooms and sleek adobe and wood kitchens. The house is cooled in summer by an internal waterfall in the rear cortile and kept warm in winter by open fires and central heating.
There is a small plunge pool ( 3m x 3m ) for cooling down in during the long summer days and a great terrace for outside dining and relaxing. The pool is usually open from the end of May until mid September.
There is something for everyone, a relaxing holiday surrounded by unspoilt beauty or a fun packed trip for the whole family with plenty of outdoor activities on the doorstep: walking, hiking, mountain bike riding, and horse riding.
