“Bridal party weekend!”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2015

6 of us shared this lovely home for the weekend. We didn't have enough time to experience all the house has to offer- there is a deck everywhere you look, so lovely! We found the space inviting and cozy and with enough room that no one was tripping over anyone else. I got to stay in the master suite which was fun, perched upstairs with a beautiful view. Comfortable living room, beautiful breezes from the ocean. The kitchen is small but well stocked and we had many fabulous meals! I wish we could have stayed longer; I recommend at least 4 days to take in more of the tranquility that is Pajaro Dunes. Lou Ann was extremely responsive and easy to work with. All in all, a pretty perfect escape.

“Perfect!”

Reviewed 26 May 2015

This was the best 4 days of my life! Quiet, peaceful, wonderful beds, ocean. What more could you ask for? We were a little unsure of Pajaro Dunes, but after this visit, we will definitely be back. Luann was wonderful to work with, very accommodating & helpful. The house was large enough so that the kids could play & have their own space and didn't interfere with the adults. The beach was maybe a 3 minute walk. Perfect for walking off dinner! Very close to other ocean destinations. We loved it & will be going back soon.

“Superbly Relaxing and hidden away”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2013

Lou ann was such a pleasure to deal with. After 14 days and over 2000 miles of driving we needed a location for our family of 12 to relax and recharge prior to flying home to Taiwan and Pittsburgh and this was definitely the place. The weather was not very conducive to going on the beach but the sounds of the sea and the comfort of the house made for 36 hours of excellent relaxation. Our only wish was that it could have been a little bit longer.

“Amazing!”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2013

Decided to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday with the children and grandchildren as a surprise - which he was. We all fell in love with the place. In fact, the grandchildren thought we should buy it. It was clean, well stocked, cozy, and organized. The view on the top level was incredible and we could watch the sunset. The beach was only steps away and we were there quite a bit. The owner was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We are already talking about returning for my birthday! Thank you again for sharing your wonderful piece of paradise!

“Great setting, terrific views”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2012

Our stay was first rate all the way. Lou ann was great to deal with and the house is outstanding. Decks all around give the place an open feeling. A great ocean view; very comfortable rooms, secure gated setting. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our five days there and would love to return someday for a longer stay.

“Amazing gathering place!”

Reviewed 20 Nov 2011

We once again chose to gather with friends & family at Beach house #25. Its proximity to the ocean beach & views are amazing. Spent a lot of time around the large dining room table eating & sharing stories. Great memories were made! This large beach house was "just what the doctor ordered from a great getaway.

“memories that will last!”

What a great house, just a short minute walk to the beach. This trip we saw sea otters, dolphins, and humpback whales. What a sight! The whales were feeding so, so where the sea birds, diving and crashing into the water to help themselves to the "find". It was a feeding frenzy and went on right off of the beach where we stayed. The walks on the beach were a surprise each time. You can walk for miles, one of the nicest beaches I have ever seen. lots of sand dollars to collect too! The beach house is just perfect for a beach get away. Lots of great things to do in a close proximity! Winerys, Monteray, San Jose, and best of all, the golf is spectacular. My recommendations, Fort Ord, Spy Glass, Pacific Grove!! and of course if you can afford it, Pebble Beach. We really enjoyed the decks off of the house too! The sunshine, no fog, it was great, weather was perfect (that always helps). The house had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable (important)! Great wood burning fire place as it got a little chilly at night. Perfect for unwinding, reading and very comfortable. I will definitely be back!! One of my best vacations ever! Thanks! “Wonderful weekend on the Dunes...”

Thank You, to the owners of a wonderful home in Pajaro Dunes. This is one of the most unique and beautiful beaches in all of Santa Cruz County. The house has all need to cook, relax and play on the beach. The kids had the time of there life digging and making sand castles, as well as some touch football on the beach. Fantastic family weekend in a wonderful home in the Dunes...Eric

“Relaxing”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2011

We rented the house for a Family Reunion that was long over due :) Our house was very warm and inviting with a beautiful view. We ate dinner every night out on the deck and had cocktails on the patio. To many amenities to mention. I recommend this house for your next get together. Oh, can't forget the amazing sunsets :)

“Therapeutic getaway”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2011

Pajaro Dunes is a unique destination composed of a 2 mile strand of Pacific Beach that can never be equalled with our latest coastal development standards. I wanted a short drive from San Francisco Peninsula (about 1 3/4 hours) to a quiet scene from which I could take advantage of Carmel, Monterey and its aquarium, the Seventeen mile Drive and Carmel Valley. After touring, to return to this rustic but very comfortable beach home with its top story master suite with decks and views and midlevel kitchen and large living dining room and fireplace, and lower floor 3 bedrooms and bath with laundry is just the way to unwind. My favorite chair and hassock are on the West side of the house and toasting in the sun is serious tranquilization. Just try to stay awake. The constantly changing light from morning fog to clear skies to glorious sunsets take advantage of the ample windows. Walking on the Beach, clam digging (not hard to do), sand castles for the kids, and kite flying for me are therapeutic. You wonder where the time goes. Ask about the ostrich farm on one end of the property. Take advantage of all the Watsonville produce and Morro Bay seafood. Meals are easy in the well equipped kitchen and the propane barbecue is right outside the kitchen-dining room door. Beds are comfortable with nice linens and living room and master bedroom have flat screen tv's. Wi-fi works fine. I've stayed here several time in the past 2 years and plan to repeat as often as I can.
