“A great Sonoran Desert Getaway close to town!”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2014

My wife and I spent a marvelous holiday at this excellent little Casita in the desert! The entire house was cozy and tastefully done, with plenty of space around it to give you the privacy to enjoy everything the desert has to offer. Taking walks down the dirt road and seeing desert wildlife was a great bonus (we spotted a roadrunner outside the door!) - not to mention the hot tub! You will certainly enjoy yourself in this little getaway that is just a quick jaunt away from downtown tucson, but feels like it's in the middle of nature. Highly recommended!

“peace with the quiet howl of distant coyotes”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2011

having visited and stayed in Tucson proper many times i was delighted to find this quiet oasis on the edge of the city, still close enough to make foraging for food less than what it was at some of the other places in town. easy access to the Congress Hotel eateries. very quiet with views to the mountains west of town in the hot tube after a day of work (i'm a painter/ artist). it is quite comfortable with a workable kitchen. i will definitely be back.

“Peaceful Retreat”

Reviewed 22 Sep 2011

Tucked away in a quiet bit of desert just outside of town, this studio was a lovely retreat during my business trip to Tucson. What a treat to return every evening to sip a glass of wine in the hot tub and admire the stars. The interior is simple and comfortable and Gale is a wonderful, helpful host.
