We stayed at the Dream with Sahuaros Casita in January 2013 for a week. The location is serene. The view is spectacular and the hosts were more than accommodating while still respecting our privacy. Would go back anytime and hope to do so in a near future. Thanks Gale!

“Delight in the Desert”

We stayed here last winter and are going back again. Beautiful setting and views. The casita was comfortable to stay in and included a small kitchen which was great.

“Desert sanctuary”

A beautiful, peaceful retreat! The setting is spectacular; must be experienced to be fully appreciated. Wonderful views of Tucson, and close enough to spend time exploring the area, but feels like you are a world away. Gale is very welcoming and a great resource for information about the area. I loved being able to hike out into the desert right from the door, and the dogs are fun hiking companions. I also love that it is off-grid and solar powered -- inspiring! I recommend a soak in the hot tub under the stars with the night sounds of the desert.

“Best place to stay with your fur babies!”

We were traveling with 3 dogs-one small, one medium and one large and looking for a place to stay that was pet friendly. Thankfully we came across Dream with the Sahuaros Casita not only are they pet friendly the casita is absolutely awesome! The views are amazing, the owners are very accomodating and give you space, their dogs are fabulous and the casita is so charming and comfortable. This is the only place we would stay on our return trips to Tucson...hands down!

“An oasis in the desert.”

If an authentic south-western desert experience is what you're looking for it wont bet much better than this isolated get away up high in the Tucson mountains. The property is surrounded by vast desert abundant with native wild life. Hiking paths are available right out the door and the high mountain views of the valley are awe inspiring. The property is completely off-grid solar and wind powered, which is an amazing experience in and of itself. The hosts are gracious and very friendly and make you feel right at home. This is a worthwhile experience one shouldn't miss.

What a amazing experience to stay in this beautiful studio perched above Tucson on the edge of the Saguaro National Park. The opportunity to hike out into the desert right from the door is unparalleled. The views at dawn and sunset from the room and patio are not to be missed. Gale is a gracious and generous host. This is Tucson at its best.

“One Unique Place”

We stayed here and loved the beautiful views and the casita. You are able to hike this property and the owners have a dog that is snake trained that went with us. The owners made us feel like old friends and were very accommodating. Would recommend this to someone who wants to "get away from it all."
