A warm welcome awaits you at Askrigg Cottage, a cosy , private, home away from home. Beautifully situated in a quiet Victorian era street in the heart of Moonee Ponds. It's the little things that will make your stay a happy one ; chocolates and fresh fruit on arrival,a basket packed with breakfast goodies and the latest magazines. Askrigg Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the train station and a short train ride (15 min) to the centre of Melbourne. Stroll down to Moonee Ponds' Puckle St and enjoy all this cosmopolitan shopping precinct has to offer. Take a walk to the tranquil Maribyrnong River or just sit back on the cottage's sunny verandah and relax. Walking distance to the races at Moonee Valley ,or a short tram trip to Flemington race course for the Melbourne Cup.

The quickest and easiest way to Access central Melbourne is via the rail line although two tram routes are almost as close as the train station

The cottage is located in our cottage garden back yard so Martin and Berys are available for advice and information much of the time. Martin speaks fluent German and a little French
