“A Wonderful Stay in a Fully Eqipped HomeIn a Beautiful Location”

Reviewed 30 Nov 2013

The location for Port arthur could not be better. and the quality and completeness of the home was brilliant. Ideal for people who are touring by car bur are not bringing along the kitchen sink. The beds were good, the water delicious, and the view out across to the Island of the Dead and Point Puer was unbeatable. The finishing touch on a cold and wet evening was to open the fireplace to make a fire and find that all it needed was a match.

“Excellent, comfortable Stay”

Reviewed 5 May 2013

We had an excellent nights stay. The wood heater made for a warm cosy night. Facilities were very clean and had everything we needed. Our reservation process was very smooth and accommodating. Location was ideal for our stay and plans over two days.

“Peace, tranquility, fresh air, superb views, beautifully furbish”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2013

Just wanted to thankyou for providing us with such a beautiful place to stay in Port arthur last night. After a long days travel from Bendigo, Vic, it was so lovely to arrive to such inviting accommodation. The sun was shining, the house immaculate and the views to die for! Our boys were very impressed! We lit the fire, walked along the sandy shore, collected shells and drank champagne on the balcony overlooking the bay! We had grabbed supplies from the supermarket in Sorrell on the way through and chose to cook a BBQ tea rather than eat out, to make the most of our cosy accommodation. After dinner we attended the Ghost your, woke up to view an amazing sunrise at 6am, then dozed back to sleep until 8.30! So peaceful! After visiting the spectacular Remarkable Cave ( just up the road, don't miss it!) we had an enjoyable day touring the Port arthur site. We travelled on to Hobart, then Launceston. Thanks again, your house is absolutely beautiful and we hope to return one day.

“Serene and beautiful”

We can't praise Burilda Waters enough. The house was very spacious with great facilities, wonderful value for money and the position was just absolutely beautiful, overlooking the bay and The Isle of the Dead and Point Puer of Port arthur. The owner was extremely helpful when a fuse had blown and we could not start the stove - he made sure it was fixed and even offered to pay for a meal if we went out and another night free, which unfortunately we could not take him up on. We were very sorry we only had the one night - but we would definately stay there again.

“Cosy and convenient”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2012

We chose this house of the internet and we were very glad we did. It was clean cosy and convenient. The house is barely a 5 minute drive from Port arthur and offers a stunning view of the local bay. Being a cold weekend we were happy to find an abundance of heaters, electric blankets on the beds and a fire set if we wanted a toasty night in. It is a house that will accommodate lots of combinations of guests and my friend and I enjoyed having a double bedroom each. The owners were very helpful during the booking process and were willing to let us have late check out without any fuss. I would recommend this house to any kind of group as it offers enormous flexibility.

“Perfect for touring Port arthur”

We loved this location, the house is on the waters edge, beautiful view, 'prison' just around the corner, facilities fantastic. The house is lovely, very comfortable, clean, spacious, loved it!

“Perfect accommodation. Couldn't have asked for more. Great Value”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2012

What a lovely suprise. The house was fantastic value for money with lots of extra touches that made it all the more enjoyable and our best accommadation that we had found in Tasmania ( we stayed at a different venue each night). Great views and very close to Port arthur. We would definately recommend it to other Travellers and stay there again. Kim Blake and Dale Mcleish : Mandurah Wa

“Fantastic view from the living room”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2012

It is only few minutes drive from the Port arthur historic site. The home is right in front of the beach with no obstruction of sea view at all. The house has been built that you can enjoy this beautiful view in the lounge in the upper floor. There are almost everything you need for staying here e,g, oven, dish washer, double sink, quality dinner sets, entertainment unit and fire place.

“Peaceful Burilda”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2012

We travel a lot, but dislike the noise and "sameness" of hotels. So we always look for something a bit different, hopefully a place where we can deal directly with the owners. Burilda Waters exceeded our expectations. It was quiet, well positioned and beatifully appointed. We are happy to pass on our impressions and recommendation.

“A lovely holiday home for family”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2012

My parents, my wife and I all love this place, we are glad that we made the right choice for booking this wonderful house. My mom will have a sweet memory of her 80th birthday staying in here.
