“Best Vacation Rental Experience Ever!”
Staying at Casa Brava made our visit to Sayulita the best vacation we have ever ventured on. The house is bright, clean, quiet and beautiful. Dale gave us such great information with regards to what to bring, where to dine and what to see. Felipe and Suzanna made our stay so easy and relaxing. Having our own kitchen, balcony and dipping pool were an incredible plus after adventurous days of surfing, biking and taking in the local festivities. Casa Brava is an amazing house with wonderful people. Looking forward to our next stay! Lisa & Robbie
“A paradise vacation!”
Our stay at Casa Brava was wonderful. We were there for a week and both of us were really sad to leave our paradise vacation. Sayulita is a hip small beach town with great people, great restaurants, and beautiful beaches. But what made our trip to Sayulita over-the-top amazing was staying at Casa Brava (and meeting our lovely, generous, kind, and funny hosts)! Casa Brava is located just outside of the center of Sayulita, so, we had the best of both worlds: we got to walk into town and experience the lively atmosphere of Sayulita and then, head back to the house to experience the quiet serenity of the beautiful surrounding forest with a view of the beach from the living room. Our stay at Casa Brava was nothing short of perfect. It was truly one of the best vacations we've ever been on and we can't wait to book our next trip here! We also want to give a big shout out to the hosts of Casa Brava. They were so kind and generous and amazing, so, thank you so so so much. You made our vacation so memorable and you all will always have a warm place in our hearts. Additional Items: - Water is triple purified! This was first trip I had to Mexico where I didn't get sick! - Beautiful house! - Great location, short walk into to town - Beautiful views of the ocean and the town - Warm host and great professional staff - Dipping pool in our terrace is great after a long day in town and beaches! - Hammock to rest and relax during the warm nights
“Great space! Under-promised, but way over delivered!”
My note to the owners, after our stay at this 5 star, gorgeous property: "Leah and I are packing up to go, but wanted to take a moment to thank you and Christopher for making this very positive experience in Sayulita possible. The property exceeded out expectations, and it's obvious that you guys care a great deal about maintaining Casa Brava to the highest of standards. We appreciated the style, the view, the cleanliness, the soaking pool, as well as Felipe & Susana's diligence keeping things buttoned-up in your absence. We also enjoyed the bottle of Tequila, but I am disappointed to report, that although Leah and I don't fancy ourselves quitters, we seem to have a couple of measures left in the bottom of the bottle at the end of our trip. So unless I can sneak it into Leah's breakfast this morning, I'm pretty sure we'll have to make a more respectable run at it the next time we get to enjoy Casa Brava and your hospitality."
“Live The Dream!!! Treat yourself to an instant classic lifetime”
What a treat!! The house is so nice that we're hesitant to write a great review because we selfishly want to keep the schedule open for our return visits. Dale is a pleasure to work with and Felipe and his wife do an outstanding job of taking care of the on-the ground details during your visit. We felt like rock stars staying at this house and had to choose each day whether leaving the house was worth being away from it. A definite grand slam. Bring some friends or family and rent the whole place. It's that good. Your chance to create an instant classic lifetime memory. During our stay at the house we we're lucky enough to observe a dragonfly migration. How cool is that?
My husband and I just stayed at this rental a few weeks ago and are still raving about our experience. The location of the rental is perfect, close enough to town (a short 10 minute walk), but far enough away from any town noise. The patio and plunge pool were perfect ways to spend the afternoon after spending the morning at the beach. Felipe was extremely helpful and onhand for any questions. Dale provided plenty of helpful information about the rental, including where to go/what to do in town. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you're looking for rest and relaxation in Sayulita.
“room with a view”
Our 2 week stay at the Guest House was amazing. The design does not miss a mark. Spectacular views, gorgeous architecture, blissful privacy. And wonderful little Sayulita, the happy dogs, the happy rooster, the many happy birds, the produce stands, the fresh fish truck and of course the wonderful Mexican people. Miss it already. Would return in a heartbeat.
“Amazing views, gorgeous place!”
My husband and I just returned from Sayulita, Mexico, where we were fortunate to stay at the Casa Brava Guest House for 11 days. We *highly* recommend this place to anyone looking for a stylish, spacious, gorgeous getaway that is just a 10-15 min walk from the hustle and bustle of downtown Sayu. The place was immaculate with incredible views of the town, beach and surrounding mtns. Very well appointed with super-comfy bed and lounging area (I should know, I was 6 months pregnant when we were there!) We loved mornings and sunsets on the deck. Also loved cooking in the fabulous kitchen. If you like birds - Casa Brava is set right among great birding habitat - we saw more than two dozen different species from the house! Its location up on the hill is also great for whale watching - almost every day we saw whales blowing and breaching out across the ocean below. We can't say enough good things about Casa Brava! Dale is also super helpful in answering questions about the area and getting you settled in. Definitely 5-star accommodations and service.
“Casa Brava - Incredible week long stay!!!”
The attention to detail, design and curation of Casa Brava is incredible. Each view is better than the next. Perched high on the hill, it offers an escape from the energetic town center. We stayed in both the Studio and the Guest House suites. Each is designed to let the warm breezes flow through the space and maximize the stunning views. Dale is an outstanding host offering loads of recommendations for dining, activities and outdoor pursuits. He is super friendly and went above and beyond. We could not ask for a better more relaxing and inviting place to spend our time. Casa Brava was absolutely the highlight of our week long trip to Sayulita. We will be back again soon! Thanks so much Dale!
“Falling in love again”
It's always such a trippy experience to come into a beautifully designed space and fall in love with yourself, your life and your partner all because you just feel so damned good about the space you are in. Is that shallow? Or just part of being a sensate organism. Ok - that's a bit over the top - but job-incredibly-freakin-well-done on creating Casa Brava. We thought about chaining ourselves to something so we wouldn't have to leave - a long chain of course to enjoy the spaciousness of the guest house. We are struggling with whether to recommend the house to friends - with fears that too many of them will come and it will be impossible to book it again.
