8 of us had a great time! Very nice, newish house. Large bedrooms. Great view of slope from hot tub!
“Great ski in-ski out condo in Whistler!”
This condo is a great place located with quick access to the Creekside Gondolas (v. short 1 min walk to the trail). The house is clean, well-maintained, has a beautiful hot tub, and is well-managed. We had a wonderful weekend staying at this place - we couldn't have asked for more! I have stayed in 5 condos in Whistler, and this is my favorite. I highly recommend this place.
“Thoroughly enjoyed this very comfortable well appointed chalet w”
This home worked really well for 8 of us. The master bedrooms & bathrooms are lovely & very spacious. The living room is very comfortable, there is a large dining table, kitchen has top of the line appliances & is extremely well stocked in terms of cookware & utensils. We skied in & out but if you are a novice skier driving down to Creekside & parking in the free underground lot might be a better idea.Check in & out was very efficient. Would definitely go back.
“Awesome Place to Stay in Creekside ...”
John's Place was awesome. We had a group of 8 people (3 couples and a few friends) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was immaculate and included all the amenties for cooking big dinners. We even cooked a Turkey for everyone! ... The ski-in ski-out access was very conviennent and it was actually really nice to stay up in Creekside away from the hustle and bustle of the village. I'd definitely stay here again!
“Excellent home and location”
We stayed here for Thanksgiving and could not be happier with our choice. It was the best place we've stayed in over the past 9 years. The layout of the house and rooms meant everyone had comfort and quiet when/if they wanted it. The living room was large with gorgeous views. The kitchen was well situated and organized. We had great snow and great times! Definitely recommend this house.
“The pictures do not do this place justice!”
We spent 3 days here after a conference in Vancouver and Whistler had a massive dump (104cm in 1 week!). John and his staff were exeptional, went above and beyond to take care of our needs during the booking process and at check-in. Location in Creekside above the Dave Murray Downhill. Good Ski-out, we put our ski's on at the garage door and skied down the road (covered in snow), then out the narrow ski out, down a short slope. Ski's off, then a hop across another road and onto the ski slope. Very good ski-in (on another trail - skiers right on the cat track at the Olympic Rings you can see from all of the decks), with a short stroll up a gentle road back. The Location is 5 stars if you don't plan on hanging out in the Village (we didn't), if you are in the village all the time for meals you'll be driving. Taluswood The Heights is a preimum development and this must be one of the nicest townhome chalets there. Great hot tub on the ground floor with sensational views over the Dave Murray Downhill run. Very quiet and private aspect. Very nice high end, well stocked kitchen. Nice high end furnishings. All the bedrooms were great. The only complait I heard was regarding bedroom pillows.
This chalet is furnished to a very high standard, is comfortable and has excellent access to the ski slopes. We had a brilliant time when we stayed here and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. The instant start log fire was brilliant when we came in off the slopes and made the living room very cosy.
“Fantastic accomodation on the best ski resort in North america!”
I stayed here for during spring break 2011 with my extended family. I knew I was in for a treat when I parked in the heated garage and had ample room to store all of our ski/board gear. The rest of the place was huge and very well laid out. The main bedrooms were on separate floors so the adults and teens could go to bed and get up when they wanted without disturbing anyone. The entire place was very clean and spotless. Even the linen was crisp and fresh. The kitchen was top shelf with a sub-zero fridge, gas range and lots of storage space. The dining room and great room were large enough to accommodate all of us yet it was cosy and warm especially with the fire going. Perfect for relaxing after the day on the slopes. The service staff were very professional. Any questions or issues that arose during our stay were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. The hot tub water was crystal clear and the views of the hill were magnificent. The location is very convenient with ski in and out to within 100yds of your door. We couldn't have asked for a better place, better conditions or better weather. It is a short 5 minute drive to all the restaurants and yet it was so peaceful at night. If you're looking for the perfect gem for your family to stay at while in Whistler then this is it. I will definitely be back.
“A luxurious stay!”
I stayed here in March 2011 with my fiancé and his family. The place was gorgeous, high end, and very well decorated - yet it still felt so comfortable and cozy... just what I desired for a wintery getaway to the mountains. Even with a large group of us, there was plenty of space to eat, sleep, dine, and relax - especially with the extra bedrooms and bathroom on the lower level. In addition to the luxurious surroundings, one of the biggest bonuses of staying here was the ability to ski in and out. A huge treat to avoid shoving on ski boots in the backseat of a car! Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
“Wonderful experience in a sopificated home.”
Ski in ski out really appealed to us. The mountain views are truly spectacular. The furnishings from the kitchen through to the bedrooms and bathrooms are equal to any 5 star boutique resort. Great restraurants and bars make this a must ski holiday in North america. Paradise in the snow, cant wait till our next stay.
