“Absolutely the Best!”
No words can describe this villa, the pictures do not do it justice. Stayed for Spring Break with our 14 year old daughter and 18 year old son. The pool is amazing and you cannot beat the location. Walking distance to Z Seafood Grille which was one of the best meals we have ever had. We took Hazels' recommendation and hired a private taxi to drive us to Manuel Antonio to Playa Espadilla for the day. Banana boat, massage on the beach, food and drinks delivered to our beach chairs, best day ever. Went river rafting and zip lining. The only negative part was that the volcano erupted and we were stuck in Mexico City for 4 days so only had 3 days here. Already planning our trip back. First class service all the way. Hazel had groceries in the kitchen, we didn't get there until 3 am, the private transport from the airport was awesome. Do not hesitate to book this villa, it will be a trip of a lifetime, guaranteed. Hummingbirds everywhere, toucans in the trees, iguanas came for breakfast. Morning and evening dips in the pool, everything was perfect.
“Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and relaxing ... absolutely wonderful!”
We stayed at Villa Monos Bailarines (House of Dancing Monkeys) for seven nights in January 2015. It was amazing! We should have stayed longer. My wife and I and three friends (two women and one male) all in our 60’s had a wonderful time at this beautiful property and surrounding area. Amy was very helpful with providing information and helping us to make our decision. Hazel was extremely helpful. We chose not to rent a car and relied on shuttle vans, local buses and taxis while in Costa Rica. Hazel arranged for a shuttle van to pick us up at our hotel in Alajuela and drive us to the house and met us on arrival. During our stay, she was always just a phone call or e-mail away whenever we had a question or needed something. Hazel also arranged tours for us and shuttles to our other locations. Everything was perfect. The vehicles were comfortable, safe and the drivers and guides very professional and accommodating. The house is in a very quiet and private area. The pool and patio were terrific and the house was very clean and comfortable. Two bedrooms are in the main house on the second floor. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable for my wife and I. The second bedroom had two beds which were excellent for our two women friends. A very large shared deck off the bedrooms was perfect for the girls to do their morning yoga or just sit and enjoy the peace. Our male friend stayed in the small private cottage that is very close. All bedrooms were excellent and had air conditioning. Everything worked well and was as advertised. There are 50 steps down a stone staircase from the parking lot to the house but the walk is worth the trip up and down. It is an easy ~7 minute walk down the road to the main road where you can catch a bus or flag a cab to either Quepos or Manual Antonio. There are 4 very good restaurants within a 5 to 15 minute short pleasant walk. The house has a phone so cabs can be called. There are many other excellent restaurants within a short cab ride away. It is a safe area and the local people are very friendly and helpful. Hazel, if you happen to read this, thank you so much for all your help. Ken, Marlene, Susan, Debbie and Bob Winnipeg, Manitoba
“This is the place you are looking for!”
We stayed here for 9 days and enjoyed every minute! Our family of four adults and four kids rented both the main house and the smaller cottage. Both were immaculately clean, (thanks to Raquel the very nice housekeeper, it was the cleanest place during our entire three-month stay!), with very comfortable beds, lots of privacy, and great service from the property managers Hazel and Amy. We were visited by monkeys twice and one time we were lucky enough to have a lot of bananas on hand. That was an unforgettable experience as we were all swarmed by sweet little spider monkeys begging for some. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place to any friends, and I would tell them to always have a bunch of bananas on hand!
“House of Dancing Monkeys exceeded our expectations!”
This house is great specially if you have older kids, they can have they separate sleeping place, practically they are two houses, furniture and appliances are top of the line brand new and first class. Yes! the monkeys come in the morning. The night guard is very friendly and takes care of the area very well. Great location!
This villa was the perfect start to my Costa Rica trip! I was traveling with 5 other girls. We stalked up the fridge and made dinners and drinks to save a little money. The property management company was great at meeting us to give us keys and even set up our zipline tour! They even came to the house and picked us up. I felt safe here and had a blast! Would stay here again and recommend to anyone!
“Too much to do...too little time!”
This was one of my favorite vacations ever! The villa was absolutely wonderful. It was beautifully remodeled with its own swimming pool and super private! We loved the jungle and monkey's that surrounded the home. My boyfriend even tried surfing. He wasn't very good, but had a great time. We went river rafting not far from where we stayed and I couldn't believe what a fun time we had. The scariest part of all was the crocodile tour on the way to the villa. It was very safe and fun to watch the tour guide feed them, but they were just so big! We are definitely coming back again and bringing more friends next time. I would strongly urge you to stay at this home. Amy was the best ever!!! You'll love her!
“Great Villa that's close to everything, yet in the privacy of th”
I stayed here for a week total and the place is amazing with everything inside and out being remodeled. There are two places to stay with a pool and the place is surrounded by jungle and has a very private feel. The location is between Manuel antonio National Park and Quepos and it is close to high end bars and wonderful restaurants that are close enough to walk to. There is also a bus stop across the street and everything you need is walk-able. For me, this was a fishing trip and I couldn't believe how many sail fish we caught, not to mention our dinner! It was an amazing time all around. Definitely this place is top of my list when it comes to vacation spots anywhere in the world.
“What a wonderful, safe adventure!”
We had no idea what a beautiful place this would be! We loved the jungle and being so close to the beach! It was very private and having two homes located right next to each other, with our own pool worked out perfect for both families! We could escape from the kids, but be right there at the same time. We've never been to Costa Rica before and had no idea there was so much to do! We caught 5 sail fish, 1 marlon and even some tuna for dinner cooked up at one of the 4 star restaurants just down the street! Great fun on the river rafting, ziplining and aTV riding as well. We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something besides the same old thing like Hawaii or Mexico. It was way better here!!! And, our hostess, Amy, was absolutely incredible, friendly, knowledgeable and helped every step of the way to make it hassle free! You gotta love this villa! We'll be coming back real soon!
