“Great Home Base”

My wife and I stayed here with our 12 year old son. The apartment is perfectly located, across the bridge from Schwedenplatz with sausage, subways, streetcars, and scenery. At the same time, it is isolated enough, in the rear building, that we slept with windows open and were not bothered by street noise. There are banks, supermarkets and shops up Taborstrasse. The accommodations are basic but clean and completely adequate. We used the WiFi extensively to plan day trips and keep in touch with home. The view is of adjacent courtyards only, but there is plenty of natural light. The small washing machine came in very handy. Our favorite bonus was the three (or more?) Citybike stations within easy walking distance. The first hour is free, and each additional hour is one euro. We rode everywhere, mostly for free.

Wir haben uns total wohgefühlt: schöne, sehr saubere und bequeme Wohnung, mit allen annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann. Zu den Wiener Sehenswürdigkeiten sind es nur wenige Schritte... alles lässt sich prima zu Fuß zurücklegen. Und auch die U-Bahn ist direkt vor der Tür. Perfekt für gemütliche Tage in Wien - wo man sich fast wie zu Hause fühlt. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist die Wohung extrem ruhig!

Bernhard was very accommodating. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Located in a very safe area and convenient to the U-Bahn. Apartment has washer, dishwasher, and full kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Die Wohnung liegt in einer top Lage mitten in der Stadt am Schwedenplatz. Die Einkaufsstrasse und das Vermuda Dreieck sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. U-Bahn Haltestelle vor der Tür. Sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist dass es manchmal im Gebäude laut werden kann, da viele Leute dort wohnen, besonders im hinteren Schlafzimmer. Das Hauptschlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer sind ruhig.Dieser Nachteil wird durch die zentrale Lage und den günstigen Preis kompensiert.

We had a very nice time here. The location is literally just over the canal bridge from the historic area. It was really nice to walk over the canal bridge. There isn't actually any view of the canal from the apartment, but that wasn't a worry because of the location overall. Just a tip for travellers by car - we ended up unloading our luggage and then parking the car at Leopoldauerplatz which is a very nice area outside the charged parking zone. This was a very easy way to avoid paying parking fees altogether. We just caught the subway.

Das appartement liegt sehr gut, um entweder zu Fuss das Zentrum Wiens zu erkunden oder nur knapp 200m entfernt am Schwedenplatz die U-Bahn zu nehmen (oder in der besten Gelateria von Wien ein Megaeis zu essen). Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer sind gut eingerichtet und genügend gross (Kinderzimmer) bis sehr gross (Elterzimmer). Küche und Toilette sind relativ klein, aber für eine Ferienwohnung genügt es. Die Fenster gehen gegen einen Innenhof, Strassenlärm hört man kaum. Wird aber im Innenhof frühmorgens gearbeitet, dann kann es ziemlich laut werden. Über alles gesehen, würden wir das appartement sofort wieder buchen.
