Description

Built new in 2006, this architect designed home is majestically located in a private mountain setting adjacent to National Forest with no other homes in sight. The main living level has a huge great room with 26 ft. high cathedral ceiling, large stone fireplace, art glass dining table, contemporary kitchen with stainless steel appliances, 6-burner Thermador range and granite counters and an awesome view of Sawtooth Ridge. There is also a south facing deck with waterfall.

The master bedroom wing has a large bedroom and bathroom with double sink, soaking tub and shower. There is also a laundry room and very small bedroom (formerly a home office) on this wing. Upstairs off the loft are a bathroom and three bedrooms (two queens and one double bed).

Enjoy the huge recreation room downstairs, with TV/VCR, L-shaped sofa, ping-pong table, poker table, full bath, futon and bunk bed alcove.

Just minutes from Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, a short walk to the Truckee River and a short drive to Lake Tahoe and historic Truckee, this property is ideally located for the myriad of outdoor activities available.

Owner recommends calling before you book to ensure that the house meets your needs and any questions you may have are answered. All rates include Placer County 10% occupancy tax.

Note: 4WD or AWD required during winter months. Satellite internet provided is not a good as cable internet. Streaming or zoom meetings will not be available.

Getting around

Reno Airport is about 45 miles from the house. Taxi service is available in the area. Travel by car is the easiest method of transportation in the area and there is plenty of parking at the house.

Smoking is not allow inside the house and only on paved areas outside due to high forest fire danger in the summer months.

How do damage deposits work?

If Kevin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
