“As conclusion we could say the appartement is very good located but uncomfortabel and not clean”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2014

In the middle of the town. From here you can get everywhere in an easy way. Fisketorvet, the train station and also a chance to go swimming is less than a 10 minutes walk. In the direct neighbourhood is everything you need for dinner for. Lots of restaurants are also close. The appartement itself is small and because of the surrounding area noisy up to very noisy. Also the backyard was very noisy at night and early in the morning because of craftsman working. The interior is simple. The level of cleanness was poor. We had to clean the dishes before we could have a proper breakfast. The fridge was covered with a thin greasy skin and we could see someone tried to washed away quickly. Also the oven was covered with something so when we started using it it smelled like burned milk. Lots of plates had stains from former meals. So we decided to not cook ourselves what made the trip expensive. There were also some remains from former guests but this was close to ugly and looked like it could be alive again. The bathroom is very small as well and the sink is more like a big mug. The toilet brush is more than disgusting. The shower was okay and easy to handle regarding the temperature. Overall the lamps are only a few. Wifi wasn't working. All in all she offered us her help and she did not want to take the deposite what makes it easier for us. She offered to us that we can buy a lamp and she will give us the money back. ....

“Nice apartment, great location”

Basic but pleasant apartment. Fantastic location for seeing Copenhagen - everywhere accessible by walking. Station only 10 mins walk away. Apartment has modern interior - wooden floors; simple, intriguing artifacts, decor and lighting; owners personal belongings make you feel they may pop by to pick something up! We thought there was WiFi but couldn't find a rooter. We couldn't find a DVD player even though there were a number of DVDs lying around. Lots of stairs to get to the 4th floor - 72 - and no lift! The shower room was not very clean when we arrived, otherwise, the rest of the flat was pleasant and spacious. Concerned there were no smoke detectors/fire alarms - is this legal when renting out a property?

“Perfect place to stay for a short vacation in Copenhagen”

Reviewed 12 Nov 2013

We enjoyed our stay very much. Just the right size and nicely furnished and equipped. Nicely situated in Kødbyen, near to the central station and the center of the city. We were happy with the Brugsen that was right opposite the apartment. The only minus was that there was a smell of cigarettes in the apartment.

Bright and lovely apartment in quiet area. Really centrally located, close to both Tivoli and Strøget and a number of other sights. Super convenient with grocery store across the street and several good restaurants in nearby buildings. For families and swimmers you also have the Vandkulturhuset only a few blocks away (DGI byen); nice and comfortable break from city strolling. Stairs no problem if you're in good shape. Comfortable bed in main bedroom -- the 5cm foam mattresses right on the floor in the extra bedroom might be more of a problem for comfort seekers (but fair enough at this price and good enough for kids and mums with a sporty/scout attitude). We did however find it very risky that there are no fire/smoke detectors in a 5th floor flat; should be installed in a rental apartment. Very nice and helpful owner/lessor. Would love to come back!

“Very comfrotable appartment in a trendy area”

- excellent location among the Meatpacking District - close to Central train station - the appartment is comfortable, the living room is big, the kitchen is well equipped - however, wi-fi is missing and would be a plus

“Apartamento con carencias”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2011

“Fantastic location with restaurants, bars & cafés on doorstep”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2011

The location of this apartment couldn't have been better - in walking distance of the centre, but located in the up and coming Vesterbro district (think Shoreditch, London ten years ago) . The apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious for two guests, had good views back and front and was quiet at night. A cafetiere or similar would have been a nice touch, but with all manner of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep, not really an issue. There's a supermarket opposite, too. I chuckled at the previous review which mentioned the stairs, but if you're not fit and healthy, the 72 stairs (we counted them!) to get to the apartment may not be for you. We'd definitely come back and stay again in our little piece of Copenhagen life. The apartment made our stay.
