Once you step onto the wood floored verandah overhanging the sea and filled with comfy furniture, dining table and double bed, you may not want to leave. Many guests choose to sleep out on the verandah each night
Two bedrooms with a queen-sized bed in each, living/dining area and kitchen fill out the rest of the house.
Access the expansive sun deck directly from each bedroom. Just off the sun deck is a cool thatched-roof hut where you can climb into a comfortable Brazilian hammock. Or walk up the stairs to the large and very private pool area.
Shantel will prepare breakfast and dinner for you daily and Dave will make sure the grounds and pool are always sparkling.
Looking for privacy, cool breezes, and feeding the fish right from your verandah? Then Villa du Soleil is for you.

We did a lot of research (a LOT!) in advance of our visit to Treasure Beach and our stay at Villa du Soleil but we were still amazed by just how perfect a choice it was for us! Treasure Beach is a lovely community and Villa du Soleil was the beach-house of our dreams. Beautiful, private beach and the verandah was amazing. Many thanks to everyone at Treasure Tours and especially to Everton and Shantel (what a great cook!) for giving us vacation memories that will last forever. We very much hope to return one day!
My husband and I recently spent a great week at Villa Du Soleil. The location is great and we loved the veranda - it is over the water and is a great place to sit and listen to the waves crash in, watch the sunset and have dinner. You can also get to the beach very easily by simply going down the stairs off of the sun porch. There are so many places to enjoy on the property - the pool, the beach, the sun porch, the hammocks, the veranda (we spent a lot of time on that veranda - day and night) -even if you never left the property you would not feel like you were sitting in the same place. Loved being able to keep the windows open at night, but there are air conditioners in the room if you are too warm or don't want to keep the windows open. Being from Michigan, we can't get enough fresh air in February. We rented bikes for a few days from Zeb at Jakes - there are lots of places to explore if you have a bike to get around and to get a little exercise to work off that great food. Shantel keeps the place very clean and is a marvelous cook (all the meals were great - coconut shrimp, lobster, lobster salad, brown stew fish, steamed fish, chicken, jerk pork, callaloo omelets) and we really enjoyed getting to know her. She kept us stocked up on all the fresh fruit we love too - could not get enough of the custard apple. Everton kept the pool very clean and the grounds looking nice. If we needed anything, Shantel or Everton would take care of it. We have been to Treasure Beach several times and we finally took a day trip to the Pelican Bar with Everton and Captain Terry - what a truly enjoyable day that was. Thank you to all at Treasure Tours for being so easy to work with from booking the villa, working with us when our flight was cancelled due to winter weather a few days before we were supposed to leave, and having wonderful drivers to get us to and from Treasure Beach. Thanks again for another truly wonderful vacation - we hope to see you all next year.
“The best of everything!”
Arriving in Treasure Beach for the first time was amazing. The people are friendly and kind. Our villa was outstanding. Dining and sleeping over the waves. Daily swims in the freshwater pool maintained by Everton. Lounging in the hammocks. Toasting 14 sunsets followed by the wonderful dinners prepared by Shantel. True, deep relaxation. To say it was difficult to leave would be an understatement. Thank you Rebecca, Nickell and Debbian for your excellent care. We look forward to seeing you again...soon!
“A View To My Soul”
The sound of the waves first called me to rest. My bedroom perched over the sea, my lullaby each night. It was the one and only permission I needed to let go of all that was before and be with only what is now. After a very restful sleep on very comfortable beds, I wandered through the relaxing decor, to make my only decision each day: should I begin my day swimming in the sea, or, in the pool. The sea won out each morning, followed by us lying out in the sun on lawn chairs overlooking the deep blue. Then it was to the pool for a leisurely crawl and dreaming the mangoes above would be ripe enough to fall in with us. At some point, I would crawl into the hammock with my favorite book, while my friend picked up her sketch pad. Or, I would sit on the very comfortable chairs on verandah and write, while she slept. We always came back to watch the sunset together - golden, fiery sunsets. No two sunsets were the same. To be able to let so and to be at ease was not only due to this wonderful location, it was also due the people. Rebecca, Shantal and Dave took such amazing good care of us. Jamaican and Treasure Beach hospitality truly at its best. The food prepared for us was amazing and the grounds were simply inviting - calling us to say. Sadly, I did have to return home. However, I returned home refreshed and rejuvenated. I still am 2 months later.
