“Excellent choice”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2013

During our visit in Rome, we had the pleasure to spend 3 nights at Carla and Massimo rosi apartment at the center of the lovely Trastevere neighborhood. We would like to share our great enjoyment from our stay there. All our expectations were fulfilled and even more. The location, the apartment (spacious and very clean and well equipped). And above all, the welcoming feeling we got from Carla & Massimo that made us feel at home. This was a very comfortable stay for our visit in Rome. I would highly recommend it.

“Lovely apt in Trastevere what a great choice”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2013

We stayed in Carla's apt in July. It was very comfortable, clean, and just as described. Carla and her family live in the bldg and were very helpful to us. We are going back to Rome next year and plan on staying there again. The Neighborhood has everything you need and is charming. It is a terrific choice

“Great apartment in Great Location”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2013

Stayed two nights with a family of five (three girls ages 8-12). Worked perfectly. Separate beds for girls. Walking distances to almost everything. Neighbourhood is very fun and hip. But can be loud at night - even mid week.

“Excellent apartment and location”

Excellent apartment and location. The owners were very helpful. A lot of space Central location, but quiet

“Great apartment, great location.”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2013

Trastevere is within half an hours walk of all major attractions. The tram is just down the road and the buses likewise. When we arrived we went for a walk to see what was in the immediate neighbourhood and discovered something close to 50 restaurants within 1km. The apartment was very clean, very comfortable, air conditioned for the Rome summer heat. Just perfect for our family of 5.

“Loved it”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2013

My family not have been more happy with our stay at Trastevere Elegante apatamento. The location was great, the apartment was well presented and Massimmo (my apologies if wrong spelling)- Carla's husband - who showed us through was charming and very helpful during the course of our visit. I would not hesitate to stay there again when back in Rome.

“clean, great location, friendly owners”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2013

loved the week our family of 3 spent at Manara house! Very clean and spacious. All one needs for a comfortable stay. Lovely location (kid playground, many food stores/ market and restaurants). 15 min tram ride (line 8) to Vittorio Emmanuele and forum/colosseo. Walking distance to Campo de fiori, navona and of course Santa Maria in Trastevere. Thanks to Carla and her family!

“Appartement calme propre et bien placé”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2013

“Manara apartment Rome”

Reviewed 11 Jun 2013

Perfect location. Very comfortable and clean apartment. We had no problems. Supermarket around the corner for all essentials. Owners were friendly, helpful and charming. I would recommend this apartment for a stay in Rome. We were a party of 5 (myself and 4 adult children) and we had plently of room. We also used Carla's recommendation for our airport tranfers. Everything went smoothly which is just what you want on a short stay.

“Spacious, Clean, Convenient”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2013

The five-room, second-floor apartment has high ceilings and tall windows, looking out into Via Manara in a pleasant five-story apartment block housing mostly long-time residents. It has an antique but reliable cage elevator. The owners live in the building, so the one time we needed help using the oven, they were there with immediate help. The apartment itself is bright, modestly furnished, and clean, including a spacious living room and master bedroom. The eat-in kitchen has an up-to-date gas cook-top and electric oven and a microwave, and the water is drinkable from the taps (actually delicious). The bathroom has a good-sized bath and a washer-dryer. The neighbourhood is serviced by good public transit four blocks away and a daily market right around the corner, where we got some very nice fish, fruit, and vegetables. Trastevere is a convenient area to live in because both the ancient city and the Vatican are a twenty-minute walk. I am not sure how the rental costs compare with other apartments, but it was recommended to us by someone who travels to Rome fairly often, and we were pleased with what we got for what we paid in comparison to hotels where we have stayed previously in Rome.
