Description
Relaxing on a timber balcony high in the trees, above fields, watching sailing boats on the estuary, beyond which lies the sea fringed by hills and mountains. Include the sun setting over this scene, some bird song, and maybe a glass of something to hand…… this could be a description of your stay at Tree Tops, a Snowdonia cottage that sets a high standard for self catering. Our guest reviews show we care about you having a lovely cottage to stay in .
Beautiful walks start at your front door in this area known as Ardudwy in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Lanes and footpaths lead down to the coast or inland rise towards the peaks of the Rhinog Mountains. The Cambrian Coast railway stops at Pensarn less than half a mile away and cycle routes are well sign posted. There is one road along the coast and no other routes into the area.
Only minutes from miles of beaches, which are seldom busy, and hill and mountain tracks which can be enjoyed in solitude even in summer, this Wales cottage is ideally located.
Tree Tops is a Snowdonia cottage converted from a two storey building in 2007 and it is furnished in a contemporary style. The accommodation is ideal for a couple or single person.
The kitchen ( incl. cooker, microwave, washer/drier, fridge etc), dining and living area ( recliner sofa, TV/ radio) is upstairs with access to the balcony (table and chairs). The cottage has Wi-Fi.
Downstairs is one double bedroom, toilet and shower room, with access to the private garden.
Parking is in front of the house, alongside the lane which leads to the village of Llanbedr past woods and fields, 14 minutes on foot.
A gas fired boiler heats the water and powers the central heating.
In the interests of subsequent visitors, we regret pets are not permitted, nor any smoking in the building.
The stairs are steeper than normal and could prove difficult if you have limited mobility.
Short stays are available from October to end of April. May to September we look for weekly stays.

“Amazing stay!”
Great host, very helpfull and knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. Treetops is located in a lovely and quiet setting where we were able to explore Snowdonia then return to the balcony and take in beautiful views. The cottage was very cosy and clean. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Response from the owner What makes having a cottage so much fun is having visitors like these. Our guests from Europe were great company, interesting and very appreciative of the area of Ardudwy they had comer to stay in. They also shamed me by climbing Snowdon one day and two days later reached the peak of Cader Idris! It was fascinating and moving to discuss the twinning of Llanbedr with Huchenfeld just near where they live on the bank of the Nagold. Hope to see them again!
