to The Old Mansion House, the largest rental home available in the vicinity of historic Georgeville on Lake Memphremagog in the Quebec's Estrie.
Built in 1889, this charming property was once Canada's oldest operating Inn, The Auberge Georgeville.
Nestled in the charming and tranquil heritage village of Georgeville, The Old Mansion House is ideal for large groups of friends and families wanting to relax together and enjoy its charm and character. This enchanting and historic home is a memorable venue for family gatherings, celebrations and special events. Spacious accommodation for up to 20 guests also makes The Old Mansion House a great choice as a venue for retreats, or workshops.
The Old Mansion House is within easy reach of Mount Orford and Mount Owl's Head for skiers and throughout the year this is an ideal base from which to explore the Eastern Townships or to enjoy swimming, boating, cycling, golf and the many other activities on offer nearby.
Set in two and a half acres of lawn and wooded grounds, it offers plenty of scope for group and family activities, and al fresco dining, while the wrap-around verandah provides a shady, sheltered alternative rain or shine. There's also plenty of sturdy outdoor furniture including cafe tables, dining tables, wooden loungers, and a variety of chairs and seating.
And, as an option, for special occasions or for those who simply want to spoil themselves, we can also provide you with a fantastic private chef.
The Old Mansion House is available by the weekend, week, month or season.
The home features:
•2 ½ acres of lawn and wooded grounds
•Over 5,000 sq. ft. of internal accommodation
•Eight bedroom suites, all with private bathrooms (plus additional full suite available on request)
•Four of the bedrooms have additional sitting rooms and balconies
•A wrap-around veranda
•Over 1,500 sq. ft of veranda and balcony
•Two and a half acres of lawn and wooded grounds – great for children, and for pets too!
•Picnic tables and BBQ
•Private parking for up to 12 cars
This lovely home is set in an historic, quiet and intimate village and so camper vans, RV's, motorbikes and snowmobiles are not permitted. Loud music and noisy parties are also not allowed.
Badminton sets, petanque and croquet are available in summer. Outdoor seating in the veranda and garden can accommodate more than 30 people. Snowshoes, skates and sleds available in winter.
