“Wonderful oases of tranquility; this beautiful welcoming villa on sunny side of Bali”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2014

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for almost a week and we were very sorry to leave, for we could have stayed here easily a whole month! What a relaxing place this is! The villa is nicely decorated and has many different areas where you can relax. It's wonderful to swim in the pool overlooked by a friendly Buddha and beautiful palm tree. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the area of Pemuteran is less touristic than the rest of Bali, and always sunny! We'll be back.

“Very nice villa”

Reviewed 28 Feb 2014

We stayed six nights in villa Bukit and had a marvellous time. The villa, swimmingpool and garden are in one word fantastic. Interior and accessoires are designed with great care. The same for all the people that work in the villa, they will make your stay at ease. We stayed with our childen of three years old here and could really relax. Also because there was every morning nice breakfast and in the evening we didn't have to cook or to go out. Rini, the girl who's working there can make marvellous dishes. You are a bit away from the beach, but with a rented scooter you are there in no-time. We wish we stayed longer...We surely want to come back!

“Great Experience”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2013

We are a family of four but for this holiday my wife's mother joined us. We were lucky to find Villa Bukit, it was ideal for three adults and two children. The children slept in the room with two single beds, we had the main bedroom with the king sized bed and grandma slept in the day bed in the living room. We were offered use of the Joglo but she was happy with the day bed. The villa is spacious with plenty of places to chill out so you never feel like you are living on top of each other. The gardens are beautiful and a stark contrast to the dry surroundings. The staff are excellent and discreet and cater to special requests. It was grandma's 81st birthday and they put on a beautiful meal and decorated the patio area, it was a great evening. It is around a 900 metre walk to the beach, 800 metres to the main road with shops. My wife and grandma were happy to walk it but I hired a motorbike to transport the children back and forwards. One word of advice, if you hire a motorbike, take the in house mobile phone with you. We were very unlucky to have flat tyres on three separate occasions, one time out at the national park. A call to our house attendant had pickup for us within 45 minutes, how is that for service! All up it is an excellent villa in a peaceful area of Bali and we thoroughly recommend it to anyone, particularly a family with children.

“Amazing”

We spent a week in Villa Bukit Kaja Kauh in august, 2013. We enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly, the dinners were succulent, the place is quiet, beautiful and so nice. And the house is very comfortable as well. Last but not least, the pool is 15 meters long and hot. Therefore we had a wonderful stay in this villa and we look forward to coming back soon.

“Luxe villa with 100% privacy and fantastic personel”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

We stayed in Villa Bukit for 4 nights as part of our Indonesion tracking between Yogyakarta and Lokbok. This Villa came at the perfect point in our trip: luxury, privacy and an easy acces to the beach (&diving;) of Pemuteran. We keep very good memories to it ! Thanx !

“Fantastic !”

We have spend 8 days in this marvelous house. Great location (mountain closed to the house, sea with lovely snorkling place at 1 km). The house is very quiet. The team tries to give you the best holydays that you would like. They are so nice. If you like nature, calm and quiet holydays in paradise, this is the place !

“Wonderful villa - relaxing stay”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2013

We were a couple who stayed in villa Bukhit for 7 days. When we arrived we could not believe that we two will live alone in this villa with a very big and beautiful garden for some days. And after the nice welcome of the staff we felt like at home. We enjoyed all: the villa with the nice and unique design, the outstanding garden with the huge and clean pool, the looks from the different sitting places in the garden or in the mointains and the outdoor bath room. Of course you don't have to worry about little lizards. But we liked these shy animals. The staff is so nice and helpful. Komang, the property manager, repaired the bicycles for us. We loved to ride by bicycle to the beach or to the temples.Nyoman did the laundry for us and cooked prepared several times a really great dinner for us. And the breakfast was great too. We organised some pineapples and Nyoman prepared pancakes for us. It was so relaxing that we really didn't like to go away. But as divers we surely did a diving trip to Mejangan Island. That is a must and it was a great experience and really worth to go. Although we were snorkeling at the Pemuteran reef. We can recommend to see the Biorock project. It's a great snorkeling there. We liked Pemuteran a lot, because it is quiet place with a beautiful beach and mountain view and not so busy and loud as the rest of Bali. If you are looking for a nice place to relax, you have to go to villa Bukit. We can recommend it.

“Huge pool, great staff and a beautiful villa in a private settin”

Reviewed 1 Jan 2013

We were a group of 2 couples who stayed in villa Bukhit for a week around Xmas time. We arrived at this amazing villa greeted by a group of 4 very friendly staff. When we arrived we were impressed by the surroundings including the large pool, beautifully manicured gardens, privacy as the villa was the last one before the hill and in general the villa design and facilities. The pool was a highlight - nice and big and very clean! Komang the property manager ensured our needs were met whilst Nyoman cooked, cleaned and did our laundry. Kutut and Wayang did a great job looking after the garden and pool! All staff were very accommodating. For Christmas Komang and the staff organised a suckling pig with side dishes, local drink of arak and a large fruit basket which turned out to be a huge feast! Also - great condiments supplied at breakfast time with the organic jam, coffee, nice butter, bread, fresh OJ etc etc.. And the constant replenishment of the drinks and fridge items were appreciated by us all! Pemuteran is in a quiet part of Bali located in the North West. There are no big supermarkets, boutiques, exclusive bars and restaurants as you would find in Kuta or Seminyak but that's what makes this location unique. You won't be hassled to buy things off the street and are free to enjoy the surroundings and do as much or as little as you want! We spent very little money during our week here and we ate off the house menu almost every night (food prepared by Nyoman) + enjoyed a Xmas feast and consumed other food and drinks as ordered through the staff. Our stay was so relaxing and just what we needed after a busy year working. We will definitely recommend this villa to friends thinking of coming to Bali in the future.

“Relaxing and beautiful”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2012

Great villa with beautiful grounds, located in a quiet corner, but with plenty to do close by - if you can tear yourself away from the villa. Staff helpful, friendly, discrete - easier and nicer to eat in than go to a resteraunt. We have 2 boys (5 and 3), and they had a great time in pool. With young kids best to have a car or hire moped to get to beach or other things. Diving good. Coral reef right up to beach - great place for kids to learn to snorkle, and even toddlers can put on goggles and see reef fish swimming - fantastic.

“Coming home at Bali”

Last summer we stayed with 3 adults and 2 children in Villa Bukit. It is so much more then the pictures show. The whole atmosphere, the people who are workinh in and around the villa, ... They arevso kind and want to make yourvstay special. The areavis so beautiful, the sea, mountains, wineyards, ricefields, waterfalls, snorkling, so much to do and it's all breathtaking. We all loved the house, the stay, the people and love to come back.
