“Omg!”

Reviewed 24 Nov 2013

This house is just so amazing, I can't believe it is a holiday rental! If it were my house I would never rent it out!!! We stayed here for a hen gathering and it couldn't have been more perfect. The decor is so pretty, yet quirky and stands out from the crowd. We booked on the strength of the photos and other reviews, so of course we were hoping these weren't exaggerated. We needn't have worried - it was even better than the photos! Lots of mod cons helped too - especially the little Dyson which was very handy. All in all I would move in tomorrow. We'll be back!

“Perfect House in fantastic location.”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2013

We booked Dean Street Townhouse for a short break family get-together,7 of us - adults, teens and 1yr old. Everyone loved the house, comfortable and welcoming, plenty of space, (including secluded courtyard), beautiful decor, everything we could need was provided! The service we received cannot be faulted, was friendly and helpful - even getting us in contact with health professional when baby developed what turned out to be heat rash, at a very alarming rate. The location was great, walking distance for everything, we did not need to use our cars once during our stay. So central there was something for everyone, including a friendly little pub just across the road. Pre arranged parking permits were provided, all very easy and straightforward. Brighton is a great place and with so much to offer across the board, we hope to go back and do more exploring. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a worry free city/seaside break or longer holiday, it was perfect! Ps please ignore star ratings I cannot get them to work! I would rate % star all the way!!

“Fantastic holiday home”

A gorgeous house in a great location, a quiet street which is near to shops and only a short walk to the sea. The Townhouse is beautifully equipped and decorated with some lovely quirky touches. Jo Harfield, the owner is efficient, informative, friendly and incredibly helpful. I have stayed in her properties several times and the accommodation is always superb and beautifully clean. I cannot recommend Jo and her properties highly enough. This is a lovely place and Jo made sure the experience perfect.

“A perfect house for a brilliant Hen/Birthday weekend!”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2012

The booking service and contact with Jo was excellent. Jo couldn't have been more helpful and was always ready to respond to questions. The house was absolutely lovely and lived up to the great pictures on the web. All the girls on our weekend fell in love with it! The decor was really good and there was everything we could have wanted in the house. The property is in a perfect location for exploring Brighton - just a few minutes away from the shops, the sea front, the Pavilion and The Lanes. Parking was no problem using the permits and we were parked just over the road from the house. We were lucky enough to have excellent weather so made good use of the courtyard while we were there. It would have been nice to have had a longer stay! We loved the dog lamp and will be Googling it to see where we can get one, and the converted bathtub sofa was a really interesting feature. All the rooms were beautifully decorated and even though there were 10 of us, the maximum for the house, we didnt feel cramped. Difficult to say what we liked best - there were so many good things! What did we like least... that we couldnt stay longer!

“perfect”

we were a party of 3 children + 2 adults and the house worked fantastically for all our needs...walking distance to town & beach, nice coffee at the end of the road, well equipped kitchen & a bath big enough for all 3 kids without fights for space! Everything was great, I will def be staying again should the need for rented accom arise in Brighton. Thanks Jo

“Funky, fab, family fun”

My 3 children & I had a fab stay at Jo's house. We'll definitely seek her out if we rent in Brighton again. Thanks Jo

“Fantastic weekend in this stylish property”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2012

This place was absolutely perfect for our needs and looks amazing too. We loved all the querky touches and attention to detail, so much so that we'd all like to live there permanently! It's like a home away from home, with an amazingly well equipped kitchen, 2 beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds and a gorgeous little continental style courtyard. The house had enough room for all 11 of us and was very quiet despite it's central location. The owner was very flexible with check-in/out times and it was all very clean when I arrived. Overall it is a great stylish property that was the perfect central base for our weekend in Brighton.

“Perfect townhouse for girls weekend”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2012

An absolutely perfect place for a group of girls enjoying a weekend away - the house has been designed to have the "wow factor", but is also really comfortable, clean and really well stocked - all makes for an easy weekend and a perfect place for lazy mornings and fun nights in when recovery from Brightons activities is needed.

“Lovely house in a good central location.”

Reviewed 27 Oct 2011

Jo was at the house to greet us when we arrived and she gave us all the helpful information we needed and three sets of house keys. The house was decorated to a high standard with artistic flare and very clean. It was bright with fresh white bed linen and plenty of towels for everyone. There was everything we needed in the kitchen including ground coffee to wake us up in the mornings! We were in Brighton to go to a family wedding and the venue was with in walking distance. There were shops nearby and restuarants.Although we were near the city centre the house was peaceful inside. The parking was a bit of a problem but Jo provided us with enough parking permits to cover our needs. We had an enjoyable stay.

“Beautiful and well-provisioned”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2011

Dean St is gorgeously decorated throughout, the signed Nick Cave photo was especially a big hit, and is easily the most well-provisioned self-catering place I've ever stayed. No frustration with not having the right implements or condiments. The beds and couches were very comfortable, although it would have been nice to have more comfortable seating in the lounge room for large (5+) groups. The towels and bedding were lovely and soft too. The location is great, only a few minutes walk away from shops, and about 10 to the beach. We had a very enjoyable weekend here and I would highly recommend it.
