“life is a journey!”

Reviewed 3 Mar 2013

My daughter and I stayed in your lovely cabin the first week in May of last year. What a wonderful time. We saw all the sights, had some wonderful dinners in town and one night we just stayed in and did some mother daughter talking, This is the best trip we have had to your area, and we usually are up there at least once a year. If this little cabin is available and you just want the ease of it all then make the call, you wont be sorry, it's just better than any hotel we have stayed at and so quiet. Thank you for alowing the public to enjoy something you have been blessed with. You were so helpful and made it just a great vacation. Thank you so much Jim and Carol.

Response from the owner Thank you Dorothy. We hope you can return soon!

“The cabin was charming!!”

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is lovely, and we enjoyed the ocean views when we walked. The cabin was well stocked-a complete kitchen, logs for the franklin stove, lots of storage, plenty of bath linens and a great video library. We had a wonderfully refreshing and restful few days. Thanks!!

“A great little abode atop the hills of Cambria where one can...”

What a great find! We got there Saturday afternoon and found this little red cabin near the top of a hill. The cabin is in a quiet residential neighborhood and nestled between trees. We really liked that it was a small home away from home, yet with a rustic cabin feel. The fireplace kept up warm and was a treat. Overall, the place is very clean and it even has a full kitchen. It definitely made our experience and stay in Cambria/San Simeon a memorable one. We want to return and stay longer next time. You should definitely book it if you don't want the typical tourist/hotel feel.

“Intimate Getaway at The Red Log Cabin”

We wanted our own space---and this was the place---quiet, charming, nestled, yet roomy---in Cambria. On a hill, by the forest, near the ocean, we enjoyed quality time and comfort. The doll-house kitchen was equipped to provide for our own healthy cooking. Dinette and wooden floors gave the room quality and romance. I got the bed, firm & plush; he slept on the billowy sofa, by the wood stove. Unique art, interesting Dvds, jacuzzi bath set the scene for a very special moment in time.
