“Awesome Yurt!”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2013

My family (my husband, myself and two kids) stayed at Sandy's yurt near Wolf Creek in July. We are experienced yurt "campers" and were very impressed with Sandy's yurt. It was well stocked with everything you could ask for, and they also made sure we had extra water when we arrived - overall excellent hosts. There were lots of maps and guides on where to hike and the setting was beautiful. It was a very easy 1 mile hike to the yurt from the summer parking. I highly recommend staying here to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Response from the owner We love sharing our Pass Creek Yurt with folks who have been to other Yurts. We try hard to make it as one client says a "turn-key" experience, so you can spend time relaxing, hiking, mountain biking, or sitting by the creeks. Thanks for coming and come back again soon!

“Awesome Mountain Biking!”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2013

We spent three wonderful days at the yurt to explore the mountain bike trails in the area. The Pass Creek Yurt is an incredible base camp for some truly awesome mountain biking. Sandy and Mark provided some great maps that could keep one riding for weeks. We look forward to return soon to explore more trails. The yurt is perfectly located, well-stocked and very comfortable. The one mile access via jeep road made for an easy and fun shuttle of gear and food via backpack and bob trailer. Once situated at the yurt, a wide array of jeep roads, single track and semi-bushwhack rides are available to suit any taste or desire. The tranquil setting makes for a perfect get-away. Sandy and Mark answered all of our questions quickly and provided maps and ideas to guide our adventures. If you're tired of the well-worn and crowded trails, come here to explore... It's good for your soul!

Response from the owner So glad you had enough time to get out and explore the possibilities around the Pass Creek Yurt. Like you said they are endless, and there is something for all abilities whether hiking or biking. Come back again soon!

“Ride on the Continental Divide”

Reviewed 9 May 2011

I became aware of this Yurt from a presentation by Sandy at our Cross Country Ski Club- but thought it would have great potential during the summer as well! A group of six of us old geezers loaded up our mountain bikes and headed North. During the summer you can drive to within a mile of the yurt- and we made a number of assents with way too much gear (and beer) Views are awesome- especially early in the morning! Lots of destinations for biking- all up and down and at elevation, but almost no one else around. Good access to the Continental Divide trail. The yurt is completely equipped for cooking and sleeping. We had a blast!

Response from the owner You "geezers" really got after it! So glad to have hosted you. We look forward to your next visit to the Pass Creek Yurt!
