We have tastefully converted an old 19th century Breton farm house and are providing two luxury apartments set in the Armorique national park with views across open countryside for couples only, newly refurbished for 2016. We now also have renovated a longere into spectacular luxury accommodation, a separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool bath, all set in its own building with garden straight off the french doors. The vaulted ceiling displaying a 12 bulb chandelier really gives a feeling of chateau atmosphere, check out the "Fleur de Lys " on our web site.
We are open all year for short breaks or longer stays and provide winter break special offers and Christmas and Valentine package.

Both apartments and longere are furnished for your ultimate comfort and have hand made king size romantic French beds, with crisp linen and French lace bedding. Bathrooms with large corner baths, separate shower, bubble bath, hairdryers, fluffy towels and bath robes included. Lounge/Dining/Kitchen area with log burning fire. Leather sofa, Sat TV, DVD and music system. Kitchen area fully equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc.
We are situated in central west Brittany, area twenty nine Finistere, on the edge of the village of Loqueffret in the Armorique National Park, a friendly relaxed village with its own Tabac/shop for daily fresh bread and croissants, a butcher, post office, garage and a beautiful 16th century church. We also have there a museum providing information about the national park, including the nearby lakes and the famous Nantes canal.
Just 30 Minutes drive from the medieval city of Quimper and the white sandy beaches of the west coast and many picturesque places of interest. The famous Brest/Nantes canal is also just a short drive away.
Finistère incorporates the north, west and south coast of Brittany. With dramatic coast line, from rugged cliffs to white sandy beaches. Drive through rolling countryside of the Armorique nation park with the outstanding beauty of its natural forest and Brittany's highest mountain the Monts D'Arree. Discover small villages hidden from view by forests of huge trees. The Finistère region is remarkably untouched and undeveloped, with wonderful ancient towns and churches to visit. The coast is a "must visit", offering astonishing sea views of estuaries and bays. A great place for walking, cycling (Cycles provided), fishing (lakes nearby), bird watching, golf and sightseeing.

Response from the owner Sorry that you didn't enjoy our stay with us, I appreciate that people are all different, but for the benefit of other guests I will point out a few items, firstly, the mattress is a hypnos mattress, from Belguim you may not be familiar with these, but they are arguably the best in the world, and used by the Queen, however, I do know that mattresses can be a personal preference, as previous reviewers have commented on the good mattresses I can only put it down to that. Heating, no, we don't provide the heating automatically in August, the towel rail is on in the bathrooms, and we ask guests to let us know if they need anything, as you did and we put on the heating for the entire duration of your stay, as I recall it was a couple of days after your arrival you requested this! There was no mention of wood, we would have been happy to supply. The breakfast hamper consists of wine, cheese and baguette ( on late arrivals we do give one's to heat in the oven as fresh one's don't keep and this way guests can use them at their convenience), croissants, butter, eggs, milk, orange juice, cereal, tea, coffee, ( fresh and instant), sugar and oil, we are constantly told by our guests what a wonderful hamper it is, in fact the review below this is from guests who stayed at the same time! I am not sure what more we can provide our guests to make this more luxurious, a jacuzzi bath, hand made mahogany furniture, hypnos mattresses, Dorma bedding, soft leather sofa, hdmi English satellite tv, 12 bulb chandelier? I understand people have different opinions on things, but I can only go on our many reviews and repeat guests to tell us that we are doing things right.
