“I will never forget this Trip! Wayne hooked us up!”

Reviewed 19 Jun 2014

Wayne is absolutely the kindest person I have met in a long time. My wife and I as well as 2 friends stayed at Island Breeze in early June of 2013. Wayne went out of his way to not only pick us up and drop us off at the airport, but also ran us around to get groceries and rum! He is called "Island man" for a reason! He knows everything about Turks and is not afraid to tell you where the best places to eat and have fun are! We all went to dinner together on the other side of the island at some conch place on the beach. It was a memorable night with stories and laughs. As far as the accommodations: Wayne went out of his way to make sure we were happy. He set us up with beach cruiser bicycles to get us around! I recommend Island Breeze all day long to anybody. I want to go back! Cheers! Chris

“Private Paradise”

Wayne Hobgood's secluded but easily accessible Cottage is a gem: far less expensive than a room or suite in a hotel on the beach and better in many ways, not only because it's vastly roomier. It's nothing less than a delightful little home away from home, and if you have access to a hotel beach very nearby, as close to ideal as it gets. Wayne himself adds to its charms. If you've had enough of hotel noise, interruptions and costs, if you want real rest plus lovely views, little can beat this.

“Great property, great owner and host = superior vacation!”

Once again Island Man Wayne comes through with terrific upgrades to an already great property. The Cottage with new amenities was a steal, especially compared to neighboring properties and the resorts. Quiet, relaxing, clean and comfortable with everything you need to make your vacation what you want it to be! Deck chairs/loungers, hammocks, outside dining/chairs to enjoy the warm air and sun, and stars at night; outside shower to get the sand and salt off; and covered front porch perfect for a quiet, cool breakfast before starting your day. My second time at this location, first time at The Cottage, I can't wait to get back.

“Heaven on Earth - We couldn't have asked for anything better!”

Renting Island Man Wayne's amazing 2-bed 2-bath cottage was the best decision we could've made. We spent the most perfect two weeks in this beautiful, sunny, roomy little house and loved every second of it. Two bicycles were provided with the rental, which made our daily strolls to the beach and nearby restaurants a fun experience every single time. The beach is only a 3 minute bike ride or 7-10 minute walk from the cottage through the adorable palm tree-lined beach access. Grocery store, restaurants, bars and souvenir boutiques are all within walking distance. The cottage is the perfect size for up to three couples, thanks to the two closed rooms and actually comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, as well as every other room in the house, making it a great temporary home. We loved the evenings out on the back patio overlooking the pond, cooking on the barbecue grill, having dinner with friends on the large outside table or napping in the hammocks and beach chairs. Wayne was more than accommodating, he is a great and generous host as well as an all-around fascinating person. Honorable mention to Island Man Jim, who was in charge of the property for the first week of our stay, who was every bit as nice and funny as Wayne himself. We will absolutely be back again, and Island Breeze will be our first choice for housing. We already miss that amazing property and its gorgeous flowers, as well as Providenciales' breathtaking beauty and warm, fragrant air. You will not find a better deal at such a great price; don't hesitate one second to book at Island Breeze!

“25th anniversary - Honeymoon location revisited”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2013

The weather in Provo was idyllic! Warm and quite breezy. The cottage we rented was even better than we imagined. Absolutely spotless! With its' two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this well equipped cottage was very bright, airy and comfortable. Anyone would love the location! An easy five minute walk to a bank, IGa grocery store, restaurants and the beach. Our patio overlooked a small lake (more like a very large pond) where coots and other water fowl paddle around all day, egrets come in to roost for the night, and the odd little green or little blue heron drop by for a visit. Believe it or not, we got up before the sun every day to watch the egrets take off at sunrise, and then continued to bird watch for the remainder of the morning while taking in the sun. Geckos of various sizes everywhere. And lots of beautiful landscaping filled with gorgeous flowers! Very quiet and private location. The owners are extremely nice, industrious and helpful, but not intrusive.

This place is Fabulous! We were very impressed with location. Close to everything in Grace Bay, comfortable and spacious. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful location (the pictures don't do this place justice). Wayne and Eddie warm and inviting and are there for anything you may need. Can't wait to go back!

“The Best Vacation Ever!”

Reviewed 2 Oct 2013

We stayed there from November 24 - December 1, 2012. There were four of us (two couples). The place had everything we needed: two separate bedrooms, two separate bathrooms, lovely kitchen, patio with a beautiful view and a very friendly and helpful owner :) This was our first stay that was not "all inclusive", but we liked the freedom of having the breakfast in our pj's and late night snacks when we got "home" late. There is a beach close by, but we rented a car for the whole week, so we took advantage of checking all the beaches around. They were all very beautiful and not crowded, sometimes we were the only ones there. The food is expensive, but Wayne sent us a list of things that we could take with us from the States and that saved us some money. On the first day we checked local stores and got idea what to buy. We tried some local fruits, local juices, local beer and rum and the prices were reasonable. Be prepared to spend $10 for a loaf of bread if you cannot live without it. Overall, it is a very nice place to stay, we would definitely recommend it to stay there if you looking for something different then 'all inclusive'.

“Excellent Stay. Great Hospitality.”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2013

Went down in mid august with 3 other families. 2 families stayed in the "Cottage" and we stayed in the "Villa". Wayne had bikes for us to ride and let us know the best placs to shop, eat and swim. Plenty of room. We have 2 kids and the other couple who shared the Villa had 1 kid. We sat on the patio at night and felt the island breezes. We will definitely be returning.

“What a week!!!”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2013

This was probably the best vacation I have had in my life. The property was comfortable, clean and had all amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Greeted several mornings by pink flamingos in the pond out back, the Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The two hammocks on the back porch were definitely a hit with the family. The beach is a short walk away and you can't even describe the beauty. White powder sand, blue water, fish, and shells to enjoy. Island Man Wayne, we look forward to visiting again. Thanks for an amazing week.
