“Good Location”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2015

This apartment is well-located, just a few hundred yards from the city center. It is in an older building, with 6 fairly steep staircases to access it, and no elevator (lift). There is no A/C. We could hear the people upstairs clomping around in the morning, but otherwise it was pretty quiet.

“Great central location”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2015

A charming very well equipped spacious appartment that we felt very comfortable in, although the 3rd bedroom was small and rather claustrophobic as it had no windows. The owner met us as arranged and was very good explaining how everything worked. As the 4 of us are all retired it was a bit of a struggle to get our large suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs but we had no problem at other times. We loved being able to go out to visit the sights of Copenhagen and then popping back for lunch and tea as it was only a 2minute walk to the bus and train station. The owner suggested we bring slippers which is a good idea as we found that when walking barefooted or in socks a couple of us got splinters in our feet from the old wooden floor.

“Best location to explore Copenhagen and a great flat to boot”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2015

Yvonne and Sven's roomy flat that dates from the 1800's is cozy and comfortable. The three of us went to visit our son who studies at Copenhagen University and their flat was near perfect. Located a block from the Round Tower and near Copenhagen's best shopping and cafes. The flat is filled Yvonne's amazing artwork, which is for sale. I brought a piece home to add to my art collection and I can always be reminded of our stay. We had breakfast in the flat all mornings and the kitchen has everything you'd need to prepare simple but good meals. Many grocery options near by. Metro station is a 5 minute walk from the flat. It took us 1/2 hour to get to the airport with a fair amount of luggage.

“Ideal location & plenty of space”

Reviewed 2 Dec 2014

This apartment was the perfect location from which to explore Copenhagen on foot. Just steps away from the Stroget & the Round Tower. An easy 5 min. walk to the metro, 10 or 15 min. walk to the central train station and Tivoli. Very close to the University, there are many coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the neighborhood. We loved the colorful and cozy apartment, plenty of space for our family of four (including two teenagers). Lots of character and personality, with many large pieces of original artwork by the owner filling the walls (and available for sale!) Kitchen is well stocked with pots & pans, plates & utensils, refrigerator, washer & dryer. Towels, sheets, laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, etc. all provided. Nice big sitting area with couches and TV, comfortable soft beds & warm down comforters. The building is older so you can hear neighbors slamming doors and going up and down the stairs, and voices and occasional traffic from the street carry as well (especially on weekend nights when students are heading home from the bars) so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall, this was a super bargain for the space and the location, we loved it!

“Relaxing home away from home”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2014

The apartment was great. Really bright, comfortable and welcoming. Perfect location to walk to everything. There was everything you needed and it's very spacious, a luxury in a big city. We all felt that we had been lucky to find this gem. If we're ever back in Cpoenhagen this will be our first choice to stay.

“Great location with plenty of space”

Reviewed 27 May 2014

Myself and five friends rented this apartment for a long weekend in Copenhagen. The location of it was fantastic as we were well within walking distance to all the central attractions and loads of great restaurants and cafes. We were however, a little puzzled by a 'cleaning fee' (500DKK) that was added to the cost of the booking especially since were asked to do the dishes and leave everything clean on departure... Aside from this, we would all thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Copenhagen! :)

“uplifting”

What a wonderful apartment, full of light and color! As two couples traveling together we enjoyed having plenty of space and a wonderful friendly kitchen to enjoy morning coffee. The location could not be any better.

“Feels like home”

Reviewed 1 May 2014

A wonderful place in the middle of the center. Almost al the activities are in a walking distance. So it's a perfect base for a citytrip in Copenhagen. The place feels like 'home'. It has everything you need, one small disadvantage is the cleaning!

“Fab apartment in fab city”

Well equipped and comfortable apartment which is right in the heart of the city but in a quiet location. Clean, spacious and warm with interesting decor. Access to the apartment worked well.

“nice atmospher, comfortable perfect situated in the heart of tow”

Reviewed 9 Feb 2014

The apartment is decorated with taste and the paintings made by the owner deepen the feeling being home. It was nice homecoming after long walks in the city. The apartment is perfectly situated to discover the city center of Copenhagen and for futher destinations there is station Norreport nearby. The airport is easy to reach by Metro to Norreport. The reception of the owner was perfect. The atmosphere and space and be situated in the centre without the noice of the centre was perfect. A good choice for a visit to Copenhagen.
