THE LOCATION:
With an enviable reputation as the sunniest part of New Zealand, the Nelson/Tasman region is a perfect destination for both the overseas and out-of-town visitor.
WINDHOVER ESTATE:
is a working olive grove (award winning olive oil ORIWA) and vineyard, and the guests of the Estate are free to stroll among the vines and olives and enjoy the majestic setting surrounded by mountains and sea.
MAIN HOUSE:
Architectural Award winning villa for up to 8 people (6 adults and 2 children) offers spectacular 180 degree views of Mount Arthur's range to Motueka inlet and Abel Tasman NP and the Tasman sea. Huge indoor and outdoor living areas, newly furnished in 2010. For larger groups the 3 suites at the b+b The Waters are also available a 3 min walk away.
Absolut beachfront property of 10 ha with 400 m private beach access. Enjoy the views from the 22 x 4 m heated (peak season) infinity edge pool or one of the many outdoor places. In midst of an olive grove and vineyard you find total peace and relaxation. Brand new Sauna and whirlpool. 2 bikes, a double kayak available for rent.Library/ TV room with lounge chairs and newest flat screen 42"-56" TVs throughout the house.
Close to 4 National Parks and only minutes from the Nelson Wine trail you can enjoy about every outdoor activity from here as well as Art shops and good food.
There is a helicopter pad as well for airport drop off or hunting and fishing trips.
Seadoo jet boat on site for fishing trips with manager. Golf course 5 min. Long term rent possible.

Three private beautifully appointed suites (super-king beds with pull-out sofa, 452 square feet each) offer spectacular unspoilt panoramic views over the bay to the east and snow-capped Mount Arthur to the west. With a flexible range of services on offer to cater for your every need we strive to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.
OUR TEAM
Your hosts are Phil and Claire Gladstone, Phil works within the New Zealand wine industry and has over 20 years experience in all aspects of viticulture and wine making. Claire works currently for a high profile Nelson tourism business. They both look forward to sharing this wonderful location with you - ensuring that your stay is relaxed and memorable. Wheelchair accessable facilities. Generous outdoor dining and BBQ-area - dinners are available on request (prebooking essential!). From outdoor spa to Nespresso coffee machines in your room: we strive to make your stay perfect.
The Pool at the main house is available only for Main house guests unless additional suites are rented at the Waters from the same group to ensure privacy.
In total we can offer 6 bedrooms with king size beds, 4 of them have a spring mattress sofa bed and one suite offers a day room with another sofa bed - we could in total accommodate a total of 15 adults depending if sofa beds are used or not.
