“Best Father's Day Weekend!”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2017

This house was so amazing and so well equipped I was so amazed when I walked in. I loved how it made me feel like it was a home away from home and all I needed was my groceries. I love that the beach is just to the left of the house and the boat ramp is just to the right we always had something to do. We spent the evenings on the beach sitting on the tailgate watching the waves and watching the many evening fishermen! The most impressive thing is I booked this listing on a Wednesday at 9 pm and needed it the following day and they made it happen. I love excellent customer service and trust me when I say this the house reflects the owners! I am looking at dates for my next visit with my family!

“Wonderful & Peaceful”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2014

This wonderful beach house has so many amenities, great for the whole family. It had the perfect amount of space for the 5 of us ( hubby, myself, 2 teenage girls and son). As the other reviews mentioned all you need to take is groceries if you plan to prepare several meals. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you need and then some. They even had chilled mugs for your margarita or ice cold beer to enjoy while you watch the sunset on the deck.Best of all the house has a full size washer and dryer which is a big plus when you have a large family. The beach was about a minute drive and the walk on a straight path about 3 minutes, very easy to cross the road because there isn't all the traffic that you usually deal with on the seawall when you book a condo especially if you have young children this location is great. We went to the beach every afternoon and there were but a few families and was never crowded or noisy. There was lots of seaweed but was cleaned & removed everyday by maintenance crew with front loaders, quite a novelty for the little ones to see a big machine going back and forth. Still did not interrupt our fun. John and Mark covered every little detail in their wonderful home that you will feel as if it were your own home. From plenty of movies to watch & board games for the entire family to enjoy in case of rainy days to beach toys, beach towels and beach chairs for sunny days. My children enjoyed their stay so much that they didn't even miss not having WiFi. The downstairs patio and hammock were the icing on the cake my husband and I enjoyed great conversations over a glass of wine while the cool breeze was blowing. We will definitely return to Seahorse Landing our experience was wonderful!

“Great Beach House!”

Reviewed 16 May 2014

We had a wonderful time at seahorse landing! The house was very clean and great for our 2 small children. The beach was less than a 10min. walk with beautiful views from the porch! Neighborhood is perfect for families- much more relaxing than being in the middle of Galveston, but close enough to drive in for dinner or shopping. They even had a guest book with information on local restaurants and activities that was very helpful. We will definately stay here the next time we are in Galveston and would recommend it for anyone looking for a beach getaway!

“Nice Get-Away”

Reviewed 6 Feb 2014

Spent four nights at Seahorse Landing and it was a wonderful experience! A very quiet neighborhood, only minutes from both the Gulf and the Bay. The house is impeccable, with two nice bedrooms, a very comfortable living area, a wonderful kitchen and one and a half baths. The house is not only neat and clean, but has nice "appointments," mostly a whimsical beach theme. There is a hammock, chairs to sit in the sun and enjoy the day -- even in January! Convenient to get to. Excellent choice!

“Stay at Seahorse Landing - you'll be glad you did.”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2013

This West End home provides the perfect getaway. Sun time on an uncrowded beach is a 5 minute walk away, while the patio cools you with shade and coastal breezes. The upstairs covered deck is perfect for your morning cup of java and a prime perch for watching an evening thunderstorm. The home is spotless, very well stocked and maintained. It's obvious that the owners, who are fabulous to work with, take pride in making their beach home a worry-free, fun-filled destination. If you're looking to escape the city and enjoy the Salt Water Soul that is Galveston and the Texas coast, then stay at Seahorse Landing - you'll be glad you did.

“Landlocked Iowans enjoy a stress-free week at the beach!”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2013

Here's some new math- 1 (night of insomnia) +1 (Google search for a beach house) --- 1 fabulous week at the beach! We totally enjoyed our week in John and Mark's beach house! It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood away from the seawall, which is what we were looking for. The beach access is very handy, and the beach was clean and not crowded at all. All you need to bring for a stay in this home is food, clothes, and sunblock; everything else has been thought of and provided for. It was exactly as presented on-line.

“Wonderful escape!”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2013

What an amazing trip! This property has every convenience of home. Every little detail was covered, all you need to bring are clothes and food! The location was superb...far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to drive in to explore. My husband, two boys, and I loved driving down to the pass to fish and swim. Best vacation experience we have had, by far!

“Wonderful vacation home!”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2013

We had a wonderful experience staying at Seahorse Landing and are planning to return for a longer stay next summer. The home was everything that was described and more...all of the ammenties of home. The owners have thought of everything. Very nicely decorated. Games, music, movies, beach towels, toys, etc.. I loved that it was a bit further out of Galveston, and we basically enjoyed having the beach to ourselves. Perfect vacation for our family of 4.

“Wonderful Place & View!”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2013

Wonderful beach cottage with beautiful views. John & Mark are wonderful "Inn" owners. Very spacious and comfy place.

“Beautiful Sunsets”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2013

My Wife and I wanted to get away for our 22 year anniversary. We found the Seahorse Landing and had a great time. The location is quiet and has great views of the beach and the bay. No crowds around and the beach access was with ease. The house was the perfect size and had everything we needed for the short break of everyday life. John and Mark made everything easy. I would highly recommend the house to anybody.
