This gorgeous oceanfront home is located on a beautiful private sandy beach (voted Best Cape Cod Beach by Boston Magazine) and has panoramic ocean views from every room of East Sandwich Beach and Cape Cod Bay. At night you can fall asleep to the sound of the surf right outside your oceanfront bedroom. This spectacular home has a fully equipped modern kitchen, 3 cable TVs, desktop computer with high speed internet service, 2 spacious bedrooms (second floor) with gorgeous ocean views, comfortable newly furnished living room with gas fireplace and additional queen sofa bed (first floor) and spectacular views of East Sandwich Beach and Cape Cod Bay. Enjoy cocktails and barbecuing from the home's oceanfront deck offering sweeping views of Cape Cod Bay. Sandwich is Cape Cod's most historic town; convenient to sightseeing, shopping, fishing, golfing, restaurants and children''s activities. There is plenty do and see in our area. We are convenient to Hyannis for the nightlife and the ferriers to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket for day excursions. Sandwich has some of the best restaurants on Cape Cod, including the four star Daniel Webster which offers a pre- fixed three course meal with everything on the menu under $20 before 6PM (ask to sit in the solarium overlooking the gardens). For breakfast we recommend Marshland which was voted the" Best Breakfast" on Cape Cod. Or if you choose, order fresh steamed lobsters from Joe's in the Sandwich marina and eat them right on our deck while enjoying the spectacular ocean views. The beach stretches for miles and is ideal for small children. Sandwich is the home of Thorton Burgess, the author of "Peter Rabbit." You can tour the house musem and visit the original "briar patch" which is located on the property. We have cable tvs in each bedroom and the family room with HBO. We also have wireless internet access so help yourself to our desktop or bring your laptop. This home is available year round.Guests supply their own sheets and towels. We provide pillows and blankets. Our hhousekeeping service can provide sheets and towels with advanced notice for a fee.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review. We ask that our guests notify us at check-in of any problems so we can resolve them asap. We contacted our maintenance man immediately to repair the door and CO detector. This happens when guests mistakenly fail to secure the storm door from the strong ocean breezes. Our rental agreement limits the number of cars in the driveway as a courtesy to our neighbors. We ask that additional cars be parked at the driveway entrance. Our beach association does not allow guest pets for liability purposes. We of course welcome service animals. We have a wonderful beach association and enjoy the friendship of all our neighbors.
