Description

St John is one of the real jewels of the Caribbean and this gorgeous villa with pool offers one of the most breath taking views in the entire Caribbean. The view extends from the waters of Coral Bay at your feet, to the East End of St. John and down the full length of the Drake Channel to Virgin Gorda some 40 miles away. Indeed, the islands seem to float between sky and sea in succession of Island Horizons.

The villa's two 62 ft/ 20m tiled and covered verandas take full advantage of this view whether in dining al fresco near the barbecue or lazing in the hammock. Sliding glass doors from the great room and each of the bedrooms provide the same view and access to the verandas. Even the secluded pool with its large sundeck and shaded arcade set amid colorful tropical gardens share the view!

The villa is equidistant from the fabulous beaches of St. John's north shore, the secluded beaches of the East End and the less visited beaches of the south shore -- all part of the Virgin Islands US National Park. The beaches and the off-shore reefs offer some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean.

This sparkling 7 yr. old villa is designed for comfort and fun. It offers 3 bedrooms (two queens and one king/twins) with A/C and private full bath. The great room has a comfortable living area with a large screen HD cable TV, a dining area of relaxed elegance, and a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and all the appliances a chef might crave -- all surrounded by original art work. Fans in every room. Internet access and WiFi.

The villa is very private and the pool very secluded, surrounded with colorful tropical gardens.

Throughout this artist villa you will enjoy original island inspired paintings. The pool deck features several island inspired murals.

“Paradise found.”

Island Horizons was wonderful; elegant, yet welcoming--a perfect base of operations for our week in St. John. Everything we needed was there at the house, making our first Caribbean vacation an easy and delightful experience. Whether you want to get out and explore or stay in and relax, this is a great place to call 'home' for your time on the island. The owners made the process easy, providing helpful information and recommendations along the way, and the on-site managers were welcoming and easily accessible, as well.

We stayed at this home for a week with friends and found everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The home was well equipped with all necessary items and had ample room for the four of us. The pool was private and used everyday after our adventures around St. Johns. The view from this villa was SPECTACULAR! It is lodged on a hillside that was an adventure in itself upon arrival the first night. Anyone staying here should most definitely rent a jeep! The location is remote enough to be away from crowded areas. Lots of local places to discover close by. Easy to get to all spots on St. John's from here. The property management staff were really nice on first day, never saw them after that and didn't need them for any issues. We would love to come back someday...

Island Horizons has it all! The view is simply spectacular. The house is very private and is stocked full of anything you could possibly need. Myself and my husband and two children stayed for a week and we had more than enough space. You could easily have another couple here or more children as there is another bedroom that we did not even use. Coral Bay is a great location - very easy to maneuver around the island. I would stay here again - no doubt!

You won't go wrong staying at Island Horizons. My husband and I stayed for a week in January. The pictures of this place just don't do it justice- our jaws dropped when we first walked into the villa and saw the views from the balcony. The villa was very comfortable, and the owners have thought of everything, from cookware to ice chests to beach chairs. Whether we were napping in the hammock overlooking Coral Bay or doing yoga poolside and enjoying the morning sun, we were always very happy here. The villa was very clean and neat. The property manager takes you up to the house when you first arrive to show you around the villa, which we found helpful. We spent several nights grilling on the balcony or cooking in the kitchen because we didn't want to leave! We slept with the windows open every night and enjoyed the island breezes. Two things you should know: You definitely need a 4wd to stay here (and around the island). The driveway to the villa is very steep, and after a brief rain we were unable to get up the driveway in 2wd in our Jeep, so we had to put it in 4wd. Also, the beds are pretty hard (which is great for some people but we woke up a little stiff in the mornings). This is the only thing I would change about this place- it is absolutely amazing and would recommend it to anyone!

My family and I have been to St. John before, but this was our first stay in Coral Bay. The view of the sailboats in Coral Bay from the house was tremendous! We couldn't believe the number of islands we could see from the verandas. We snorkeled nearly every day, but always took time to sit on one of the verandas or poolside, to soak in the views. The villa was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Every room was bright and airy. The bedrooms were equipped with air conditioners, but with the ocean breezes and ceiling fans, we found we did not need them. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, and we loved having a gas grill on the veranda, right off the kitchen. We prepared many meals during our stay, and found everything we needed. The owners thought of so many little details: there were not only ample beach towels and beach chairs, but also coolers and picnicware. There were St. John guidebooks as well as activity and restaurant reviews. All the incidentals that help you feel right at home, right from the start.

Island Horizons has it all. Location, amazing views, and the house is comfortable and well stocked with anything the vacationer could possibly need. The homeowners obviously take great pride in the home, and they keep the home in immaculate condition. I have stayed in several other rental homes in St. John, and they do not compare to Island Horizons. This was my fourth stay at Island Horizons, and I hope to stay there many more times in the years to come. This home has it all. You will not be dissapointed.

This was our third stay @ Island Horizons. The house is immaculately clean, three a/c bedrooms and the million dollar view is tough to beat. It is so nice to come back to Island Horizons after a long day @ the beach or cruising the island. We prefer Coral Bay, the quiet atmosphere and it's proximity to the North Shore beaches. Kitchen is well provided for and gas grill is a plus...am coffee & dinner on the deck are great ways to begin & end your day!

Hi Marie-France and Ed, We left your beautiful home yesterday and are already wishing that we were back there. Island Horizons was the perfect home away from home with the added bonus of having the most amazing views that we have ever seen. When we first walked in the door and saw the breathtaking views, we were in awe of the beauty of St. John and felt extremely lucky to have found Island Horizons. Our first visit to St. John was more than 12 years ago. At that time, we stayed at The Westin in Great Cruz Bay. We only had a car for one day at that time, so we didn't spend more than an hour on the Coral Bay side of the Island; now that we have stayed in Island Horizons, we are hooked and hopefully will always stay there when we are "on island". You have truly thought of everything when providing for your guests' needs. From the beach chairs and coolers, to the well stocked kitchen, there was nothing that we needed that we couldn't find in the house. Although we did stay in and grill during 2 of our nights there, we also went to some of the wonderful restaurants that were nearby. I truly believe that our week in Island Horizons gave us the slice of "paradise" that we were looking for during this much needed vacation. St. John is simply breathtaking, and so laid back and relaxing. We have already started scheming on how we can make it back!!! Thank you so much for the ability to stay at your home during our vacation. Island Horizons was beautiful, clean, and comforting. I was very impressed!! And Sharon was such a sweetheart, so helpful and hardworking. She really does a wonderful job welcoming guests and keeping the home spotless. “Spectacular Vacation Home”

We had a fantastic vacation at Island Horizons. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the views are beyond belief! The owners did an amazing job in planning and decorating. The home is lovely, comfortable, and so spacious. The house comes complete with everything anyone could want including kitchen items, comfortable bedding, and beach gear. We enjoyed breakfast outside every day and even a few dinners. We enjoyed the morning sun by the pool and the wonderful afternoon shade. The views of Coral Bay and all the different islands, as well as the beautiful flowers and landscaping are spectacular. The location was perfect for us! It was easy to get to restaurants and great beaches. We enjoyed aqua Bistro, Miss Lucy's, Vie's Snack Shack, Caneel Bay Restaurant, and Skinny Legs. Every day we went to at least one beach. The snorkeling was amazing at Little Lameshur, Honeymoon Bay, Hansen Bay, Cinnamon Bay and Trunk Bay. We also went to Jumbie and Hawksnest. We definitely plan to return to St. John. Our first trip was only five months ago and we loved it so much we had to return. When we return in the future, we hope we can stay at Island Horizons again. We loved everything about it!
