PERIWINKLE COTTAGE - truly a place to call "a home from home". This 2-unit, townhouse cottage offers guests privacy and an updated seaside decor with today's modern amenities.

(You can reserve Unit #1 on this site only).

UNIT #1;

--Unfortunately, we are NOT able to accommodate pets of any kind or smoking in the units.

--Rates based on Double Occupancy - 2 guests only.

--Unit sleeps a maximum of 2 guests only

--Unit is NOT able to accommodate infants or children under 16 years of age

--Full kitchens (stove/oven; refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster)

--Shared laundry (for stays 7-nights or longer only) and gas grill

UNIT #1 has a 2nd floor Queen Bedroom accommodating a maximum of 2 guests only.

UNIT ONE has approximately 550 square feet of living space on 2 floors and offers guests a warm and welcoming space with bold artwork and light colored walls. This unit includes a first floor bathroom with stall shower and second floor Queen-size bedroom.

Getting around

Convenient walk to village center and Bearskin Neck, Front and Back Beaches, restaurants, shops, galleries, kayaking, bike rentals, the train station (that could take you to Boston for the day!), and the Shalin Liu Performance Center.

Interaction with guest

We love to greet our guests upon arrival - though, sometimes due to work commitments we are not able too... and then we try and meet up with you sometime during your visit with us. Instructions on entering the unit are sent in an email to you with directions to the cottage. We are available anytime by email, text or phone to answer questions or make suggestions during your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rosemarie (the owner) a message.

If Rosemarie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
