Villa Kavya, one of the premier luxury villas in Canggu, is a contemporary four-bedroom private villa, located just a few minutes walk from Canggu beach. Generously designed to maximize space and privacy on 1500 square metres, the shingle-roof property offers the best of tropical island living with all creature-comforts of a Canggu luxury villa.
The property boasts two swimming pools, one of them 17-metres long, big wooden decks, sun loungers and an expansive, flat-lawned tropical garden. Measuring 17m x 5m the main pool is large enough to allow you to swim laps. A smaller plunge pool of 6m x 4m, separated from the large pool by a small pavilion, is perfect for children.
Indonesian Architect Sekar designed this Canggu luxury villa in a modern interpretation of the open living spaces used in traditional Balinese architecture. Spaciously laid out, she combined traditional wooden shingle roofs, warm teak wooden floors and interior elements, cream-colored granite and polished grey cement in a striking, stylish contrast to the large central grass lawn. Large French doors keep light and air flowing through the villa’s interiors, providing a sense of tropical island living.
In addition to its location a short walk from Berawa beach, Villa Kavya is but a 3 minute walk to Restaurants and a Supermarket located near the Finns Recreation Club (formerly Canggu Club).

It is only through feedback like yours that we are able to maintain and indeed, where necessary, improve some of the features of our properties. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the meals prepared by the villa Chef. The villa’s location is indeed quite central and nearby the most reputable beach clubs and upcoming restaurants, bars and shops. The area of Berawa in Canggu has rapidly expanded and nowadays one can enjoy the benefits of being just a few minutes away from many popular vistors attractions that this seaside village has to offer, including popular family orientated Finn's Recreation Club. Regarding your comments about the motorbikes noise coming from the street, audible mostly from the master bedroom and bathroom, we are glad to inform you that after discussion with the villa owners, they have agreed to take the necessary steps to insulate these rooms to minimize the sound from the outside road. The Villa Owner will meet with specialised contractors this week to discuss the most effective way to carry out this modification. Despite much development in the Berawa area, we are pleased to have still some local rice farmers with a rice field actively farmed adjacent to Villa Kavya. The sound to deter birds from taking the newly planted seeds off the field are very seasonal and a traditional practise all over Bali. With the insulation of the master bedroom these should not be audible anymore. Following your comment about the sharp edges by the children’s pool, we are sorry your friend’s child got somehow hurt. We immediately & carefully checked all the edges of the pool areas and could not find anything hazardous for children. In reference to the open staircase leading to the master bedroom, we have asked the villa owners to purchase a stair gate to be available free of charge for the groups who are travelling with infants & toddlers as well as looking into closing the small side of the stairs which is currently open. As you can see, the owners have taken your concerns very seriously and offered you a 10 % discount on your villa rental plus a complimentary in-house dinner family style on your last evening of your stay in Villa Kavya, which you had accepted as compensation for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. The window in the bathroom is now completely opaque - we had actually left it so guests could look out the window but we accept that some may feel uncomfortable and so the bathroom now assures complete modesty for guests with an opaque window AND Roman blinds. Yes, we do use refillable amenity bottles in the bathroom out of respect for the environment. I have checked them and indeed there were one or two which needed replacing and this has been done.
