“Perfect location, wonderful welcome!”
I travelled to Paris this past November with my husband and 6-year-old son; it was their first trip to Paris, and they fell completely in love with my favorite city thanks to our wonderful stay in this charming apartment. Sabine was a warm and gracious hostess, waiting for us on our arrival to get us settled in. The apartment is up a flight of stairs above an art gallery in a quiet courtyard. It is blissfully peaceful, yet just around the corner from lively cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, charming shops, and above all the metro, and just a few minutes on foot from the Seine. On our first jet-lagged morning we opened our bedroom window to the pre-dawn smell of fresh bread baking, and then simply followed our noses to the nearest bakery... This is an ideal central location, whether you are discovering Paris for the first time, or returning for the twentieth. The apartment was warm and comfortable despite the November chill outside, and spacious enough for an active little boy - and the benefits of a washing machine when traveling can not be overstated... We can't wait to stay here again the next time we go to Paris!
Response from the owner Thank you so much Kristina! You'll be always very welcome! Cheers, Sabine
“Sabine is super helpful, great location and good price!”
This is a nice one bedroom apartment in a wonderful location in Paris. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but this is still a quiet spot as it doesn't open up to the main street. Many of the things you'll want to do are within walking distance and a metro stop is about a block away. Sabine was very flexible with our family and we had three small kids staying with us in the apartment. It would be perfect for a couple or a family one or two kids. We made it work with three kids because it was a great location and a very good price. Sabine was super helpful and easy to work with. You will enjoy your stay in Paris here!
Response from the owner Thanks Sarah! Be back soon! Cheers, Sabine
“The Perfect Apartment”
Sabine's apartment is ideal for two or three people. I spent almost four weeks there in May/June and loved every moment, it had everything I wanted and more. It is a very comfortable apartment, first floor with easy external access, overlooking a pretty courtyard and in a wonderful location. Just a couple of minutes walk to the vibrant Rue de Buci, a lively social scene with it's cafes, delis and street musicians, yet with all the activity, not a sound could be heard within the apartment. Dealing with Sabine is a pleasure. This is my Paris home on future visits.
Response from the owner Thank you so much Paul! I am awaiting your next visit!! Stay well, cheers, Sabine
“Once again a wonderful holiday in Paris”
This is the 3rd time that we have stayed in this apartment and we love it ! The location is fantastic, although it isn't large the apartment has everything you need and Sabine is so very kind and helpful. We found the bed and the entire apartment very welcoming and after long flights from Australia that is very important ! We love staying here, hope to be back soon and thank Sabine for being so welcoming to us.
Response from the owner It is always a great pleasure to welcome you Maria! I am securing your dates for next year! Thank you again for this review. Warmly, Sabine
We chose this apartment based on the location and it really just can't be beat! It is conveniently located less than a block from Rue de Buci, where we hit the bakeries and fruit stand in the morning and the cheese stand and wine shop on our way home at the end of a busy day. The Louvre and Notre Dame are about a 10 minute walk across the river, the Musee D'Orsay about a 20 minute walk. The metro is just over 5 minutes. The apartment itself is not big, but was perfect for our family of 4 and was accurately described. The kids each had their own daybed, which doubled as sofas. The kitchen (small but functional) and bath seemed to have been updated in the past few years. The apartment has lots of guide books and restaurant recommendations from previous travelers to peruse through. The wifi was great for planning out the next day's activities. Sabine, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and responded quickly to our questions. She made renting our first apartment a breeze! We have already booked a return visit!
Response from the owner Thank you Christie! It will be a great pleasure to meet your mother next September! Have a nice summer! Sabine (and Pierre!)
“Wonderful stay in Paris”
We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (ages 7 and 10). Sabine was wonderful to work with from the moment we reserved the apartment. She kept in contact and made sure all the details were in place so we could connect on our arrival. She even was patient when our metro ride from the airport took longer than expected. The apartment is absolutely wonderful. Nice size, central location, wonderful neighborhood. It was so nice to have a place to have a light dinner at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable; the bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed; the beds in the living room were perfect for our kids. Sabine made us feel welcome, spoke excellent English, gave a great overview of how to get around, and shared options for places to go for meals. She had a bunch of brochures and resources in the apartment to consult. She even arranged a taxi for us for the day of our departure (despite being out of town herself). We had a wonderful experience with Sabine and highly recommend this apartment.
Response from the owner Thank you Laura! I was really glad to meet you and your family! Hope to meet you again some day in the future. Best wishes, Sabine
“Great location for Paris visit”
We had good experience at this location and Sabine was extremely helpful with reservations, check-in and information about the local area. We were in Paris in cool and windy weather and the apartment was very comfortable. The location is wonderful with restaurants, markets, general shopping and the metro. Sabine was very helpful beginning with the request to rent thru all the stay. She reserved a taxi for our trip to the train station at departure. The entire process working with her was very good.
Response from the owner Thank you John for this king feed back! I hope alll your family felt at home in my brother's place and I hope you'll be bak some day! Cheers, Sabine
“Delightful even if it weren't in the perfect location: which it”
This place is lovely. The location is perfect for all the social and cultural delights of St Germain des Près, but it's also a gorgeous, light filled and perfectly appointed appartment. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful in the courtyard and Sabine is incredibly attentive and helpful. I'd normally say the value was only average, but come on: for a flat in this location, with this gorgeous atmosphere, it's worth every cent.
Response from the owner Thank you Lewis! Your stay was too short, so you need to come back! Sabine
Gracias Sabine!!
Response from the owner Muchas gracias Belen! Me encanta saber que han gustado tanto! Espero que regresaran pronto! Un abrazo para toda la familia, Sabine
“Location couldn't be better”
The owner, Sabine Moisan, is very friendly and helpful, offering excellent restaurant suggestions and responding to requests. Her apartment is well located, walking distance to the Seine, and right in the middle of lively night and restaurant life on the Rue de Buci and Odeon. Two good bakeries a stone's throw away. Also close to two subway lines - and two delicious bistros, Le Comptoir and Les Editeurs (try os a moelle with parmesan foam at the former and scallops risotto with mushrooms at the latter). The apartment itself is located up a flight of antique stairs, overlooking a courtyard, so quiet for an apartment in the midst of action. This is not a luxurious apartment, but compact, comfortable and cozy - and adequately equipped with the basics you'll need.
Response from the owner Thank you Joanna & Peter! I hope to welcome you again some day: you have a lot more restaurants to discover! Sabine
