“Home away from home right outside the walled city!”

Reviewed 20 Apr 2014

High recommended as the perfect Dubrovnik apartment!! While there may be something to be said for the novelty of staying within the walled city itself, we found staying just outside it -- with a commanding view of the entire panorama -- much more sensible. Not only do you avoid the throngs of tourists within the walled city but you actually have a much better view. On top of this, the owner, Elena, is fabulous. Outgoing, dynamic, and extremely helpful, she is a wonderful host and is more than happy to help you make your plans and to offer advice. There is also private parking directly in front of the apartment. The interior is extremely spacious, with doors that open onto an enormous balcony and can be left open to invite the warm Mediterranean breeze in all day long. Wish we didn't have to leave this wonderful place!

“Great location just out of old city, and friendly/ helpful host”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

We really enjoyed our time in Dubrovnik, which was definitely helped by this awesome apartment overlooking the old town and adriatic Sea. The apartment was exactly as described by Jelena, and she was an extremely helpful host. We will definitely be back!!!

“Excellent apartment near beach and Old Town”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2013

Well placed apartment with everything you need including toiletries and towels. Beautiful views from balcony and convenient to all amenities. Jelena went out of her way to ensure we had a marvellous experience in Dubrovnik. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

“Home away from home”

Reviewed 7 Jun 2013

My husband and I stayed in Jelena's beautiful apartment during the first week in May, and it was wonderful! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and clean, and it's just a short walk to old town Dubrovnik. The views from the balcony cannot be beat - we enjoyed many a glass of wine while taking it all in. Jelena was truly a wonderful and generous host. She stocked the apartment with wine, delicious fruit and tons of helpful info on Croatia. She was also very helpful with everything from dinner recommendations to driving tips. Thanks for a wonderful time, Jelena - we hope to return soon!

“Good for the legs!”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2012

We stayed in Mediteran for four nights last week - already seems like months ago! Mediteran is not an apartment with all the frills but the location and view are excellent - not far from the town beach too which was a plus! Lots of steps! There is some road noise but Dubrovnik is a busy place. Jelena very lovely and helpful

“Dubrovnik apartment”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2012

The apartment was perfect for us. It has a great location, just a 15 min walk to the old town, 5 min to the Tram and just down the hill to an excellent beach and beach club. It has an outstanding view of the old town and the islands across the water. The view was especially good at sunset. The apartment was well furnished and has all the necessary kitchen supplies. The air conditioning really came in handy since it was very hot outside during our stay. We would definitely stay there on any return to Dubrovnik.

Response from the owner thanks:))you are welcome any time:)) regards, Jelena

“Amazing flat with good view and nice location”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2011

It's not just about Jelena being such a friendly and fantastic host but also about the apartment itself where you can enjoy an excellent view from the balcony of the Bay, the luxurious yachts and the Old city. The apartment is quiet and with double glazing Located outside of the Old city which we preferred as much less busy and less noisy. Lots of nice places around: bars/clubs... and I would definitely recommend to go to the Victoria lounge bar nearby that has an amazing setup and great atmosphere G.

Response from the owner Thanks:)))

“great location - comfortable, clean apartment”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2011

We stayed at apartment Mediteran for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute - really didn't want to leave! Jelena was a great host. We arrived by hire car from the airport - having a parking space right outside the apartment was a bonus and Jelena even parked the car for us on arrival! The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The view from the balcony made the stay really memorable though - eating breakfast and watching the cruise ships, yachts etc go in and out of the old harbour - brilliant. Although the apartment was on a fairly busy road it was only traffic noise kept to a minimum by the double glazing - no noisy bars etc. Residential area. Supermarket just 5 mins walk away. Dubrovnik (loved it!!)was a 10 mins downhill. We would definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

Response from the owner Thanks, you were nice and friendly guests:)

“Hot, crowded and a friendly hostess”

Reviewed 13 May 2011

It was i nice holiday, but very hot and crowdy in Dubrovnik in that period. The flat was nice, the road a bit close and a lot of stairs down to the crowdy beach. There were another possibility to swim and stay in the sun near by. The hostess/owner are very friendly and helpfull.
