Rosebank Cottage is a comfortable, recently renovated older home (two suites)on Texada Island, overlooking picturesque Vananda Cove and government wharf. The ocean is literally at your doorstep with private decks for sunbathing, whale and dolphin watching, barbeque with friends, or just relaxing with coffe and the morning paper. Enjoy beautiful sunrises, watch herons, eagles, kingfishers, blue jays,and more. This property is located on the north end of Texada Island in the tiny hamlet of Van Anda. We offer one self-catering suite with private bath, deck, entrance and laundry facilities. Bring your kayaks, binoculars, and comfortable walking shoes. There are full kitchen facilities in the Blue suite, cable TV and Wifi. We know you'll enjoy your complimentary coffee and lovely fruit bowl on your first morning with us. We have also a new room we call "The Quarterdeck". It's on the lower level of the house, with fabulous views, private deck with BBQ, cable TV & Wifi. It also has private entrance and bath, microwave and fridge. There's an active artist's group on the island, and lovely shops to find local treasures. We have two restaurants on the island, a pub at the local hotel, and a Legion with great food and lots of activities. You can be as active as you like on the island. There are great hiking trails, a Saturday Trekkers group hike you can join in with, or drop in Yoga or Tai Chi classes. We have beautiful tennis courts and great bird-watching. You might see our local black tail deer on or near the property! Rosebank Cottage is a great place to vacation - for all ages. Relax - Renew - Rejuvenate!

Nothing but wildlife and the sound of the ocean. Very peaceful and a fantastic place to stay if you are looking to get away from the big city. Highly recommended. We have been here 2 years in a row.

How do damage deposits work?

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
