If you are looking for a romantic place to stay during your holiday in Le Marche, then one of our studio apartments are for you. Voted the Number 1 rental property in San Ginesio by Trip Advisor, we are nestled in a beautiful valley on the 'Shelf of the SIbilini'. Our independent studio apartments provide stunning views and give you a fully contained self-catering apartment. The apartments are next too each other, so if you want privacy you have it - if you are travelling with friends, we can open up the rear terraces so you socialise together, and still have your own front door!

Both apartments boast lovely four-poster beds with super comfy feather mattress toppers - many of guests telling us that they have never slept so well! We have found the best linens, towels and dressing gowns, so you really feel pampered!

In the kitchen....

Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen so you can make some delicious meals if you do not want to venture very far. The kitchens have a ceramic hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment and plenty of crockery and utensils too. We also leave you a few essential supplies to get you going, such as; welcome bottle of wine, coffee, tea, oil, vinegar and some herbs etc. There is also a small dining table for those intimate dinners!

Relaxing inside....

Whilst we are pretty sure you will find it hard not to spend lots of time on your private terrace, you may just want to relax and watch a movie, so your sitting area has a comfy sofa for two, a TV and DVD player with a good supply of movies and an ipod player so you can listen to your favourite music!

Your bathroom/shower room

Each apartment has a bathroom with washbasin, toilet, walk-in shower and a supply of shower gel, soap and toilet rolls to get you going. We supply lots of fluffy towels and dressing gowns too...

Now for outside....

Each apartment has its own private garden terrace, where you can take in the magnificent views. Look out onto rolling hills, listen to goats bells in the distance and relax with a book and a glass of complimentary prosecco. The pool is next to the apartments so you can cool down or simply sunbathe enjoying th superb views.

We are located located on what is known as the 'Shelf of the Sibillini' and you can be in the middle of the fabulous Sibilini National Park in ten minutes. We are 5 minutes from four superb hilltop towns, each with their own unique charm, architecture, bars and restaurants. Within twenty minutes you can be in the famous University town of Macerata and a further ten minutes will see you on the Adriatic coast.

We can also organise a range of activities from gentle walks through to hot air ballooning, truffle hunting to horse riding, quad biking to birdwaching, ccokery courses and wine tasting. All activities are managed by professionally qualified experts. Skiing is available only twenty minutes away. There also many shopping opportunities available, especially shoes and handbags, and many discount outlets are within a twenty minute drive from Bellavallone.

Eating out is a pleasure and cooking in the Marche is deeply rooted in the peasant tradition (cucina povera) and is remains impervious to the arrival of frozen bastoncini di pesce (fish fingers). Here the home cook, rather than the professional chef rules, and even the smartest restaurants seek to produce food just like Nona, or grandmother, used to make. Eating and drinking is superb value and the quality overall is exceptional. We can offer guidance on local restaurants and make bookings on your behalf.

Response from the owner As I explained to the guests at the time, our pool does not open until July as that is when is starts to get hot, although we should have updated the listing details to reflect that. All of our other listings plus our own webste reflect that so we will rectify this. The weather for the first four days of their stay were not suitable for swimming in any case. With regards to any sort of refund, I had already sent back the €100 security deposit despite having blood left on the duvet cover and some very bad marks left on the floor tiles. This necessitated in additional laundry costs to remove the blood and significant effort to address the marks on the floor. Therefore we contend that a refund for three days of the pool being available was inappropriate considering the €100 security deposit was refunded in full.
