“Great apartment, great location and friendly, responsive staff”

Reviewed 18 Jan 2014

The arbaspaa staff settled us in by taking time to show us the important features of the unit. We (two adults, two adult children) loved the atmosphere of the first floor balcony on to the main street and the spaciousness of the lounge/kitchen/dining area, and the full-length balcony doors. The proximity was perfect for us, with all the restaurants, shops and features very close, as was the arbaspaa office. The apartment is an easy walk from the Manarola station, modern, fresh and typical European living. A couple of small negatives (which didnt take away from a great experience) would be to have instructions in the booklet for the dishwasher and washing machine, more than one mirror in the whole apartment (I was with three females!), and the spare keys of the safe should be left at the office, they were left in the safe.

“Great apartment in center of the city”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2013

The people who manage this apartment were very cordial and went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay. We found the apartment to be well supplied, clean, and located right in the center of the city. You can sit on the balcony and watch all of the activities going on all day, women hanging their laundry outside to dry, older gentlemen chatting on benches, little fishing boats lining the streets. Convenient to stores, restaurants, the train and the ferry and the sea. We would go back in a heartbeat. Manarola is a fabulous location to be, easy to visit all of the other Cinque Terre villages, less noise and traffic at night than being in the other villages. This apartment has a hair dryer, a safe and wireless internet also. There are about 15 steps from the street to reach the front door, once you are inside it is all on one level. Not desirable for those with disabilities in walking, but then none of Cinque Terre is! Be prepared for lots of walking up stairs and hills everywhere you go.

“Great vacation”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2012

We really enjoyed the apartment. We stayed for 5nights in October 2012. The only downfall (that we knew about in advance) was the location of the bathroom. The bathroom is in one of the bedrooms so if you have to use the toilet in the night then you have to go through the other bedroom. Also, the sink in the bathroom was not draining very well and the shower door came off the track a few times. That said the apartment was perfect for our needs and provided a great location. The owner walked by one evening and asked how things were and really we couln´t have been more pleased overall. The apartment ahs a nice design and is really well done. Great for a family on vacation!

“Great time...however missed the mark on some points”

Reviewed 18 Oct 2012

We were there in Sept which was towards the end of the Summer season. The weather was still quite warm and humid. I was a bit disappointed the air conditioning that they described that was available actually wasn't available. Instead, they gave us 1 fan for 2 bedrooms? How does that work? Also the a/c that you could work in one of the rooms was literally hot air? They had over-ridden the a/c unit so you couldn't change temperatures. I'm a little disappointed as everything else was great. Also, we had ants on our bed, I think its due to the humidity climate within the apartment. The location of the washing machine was not ideal, its on a balcony outside the main bedroom & it stank badly. The location was perfect and very close to the station and restaurants. Other than that, we had a great time.

“Right in the thick of it”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2012

My boyfriend and I stayed in this beautiful well equipped apartment for 4 nights in September 2012. It was right in the centre of Manarola and we felt very involved in the hustle and bustle of this beautiful little village. A cheery hello from some local gentlemen every evening as they sat on the main street having a chat. The owner even passed one day asking us how we found the apartment. Perfect location in the village with easy access to the walks to the other villages. Would highly recommend it and no problems at all with it. Perfection and the most relaxing holiday we had in a long time (even if we did hike / walk for approx 2 hours at least each day)

“Great location, needs a few improvements.”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2012

The town of Manarola is beautiful. The apartment is in a great location. It's spacious. We loved the balcony. The staff is courteous and friendly. The negatives; the washing machine did not drain properly, so we had to wring out our clothes before hanging them on the clothesline. The shower door fell off when we went to slide it open. The floors needed a good sweeping and washing. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and have many happy memories of the Cinque Terre.

“Perfect location, excellent condition, excellent service.”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2012

We enjoyed our stay in Manarola very much. The service was excellent with a very friendly staff who gave us complete instructions. Central location was perfect. Interior was very clean, light, and modern. The only thing you might want to fix is the loose shower door hardware that makes it hard to operate and close fully. Everything else was great.

“Fantastic”

This is a great apartment! It's clean, comfortable and in a wonderful location. Arbaspaa were very professional and easy to contact and communicate with. There are very few stairs to get to the apartment, and the balcony overlooking the main street is delightful!! The kitchen has all facilities and it was great to have a dishwasher and washing machine.A wonderful apartment, absolutely fantastic place to stay, Thank you

“Fantastic, modern, family friendly apartment in the perfect loca”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2012

The service was friendly and the office easy to find. The apartment was very modern and comfortable with all amenities you need...and then some! The location was perfect to explore Cinque Terre from and handy to the restaurants, ferry and train. Only difficulty was that the top bunk wasn't suitable for young children (4 year old wriggly sleeper twins), so we just top and tailed them on the bottom, which wasn't a problem for us. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend to others.
