Appalachian Retreat is a beautifully decorated home centrally located on Appalachian Ski Mountain between Boone And Blowing Rock!
The main level features a wonderful open floor plan with a living room with a stacked stone gas log fireplace, exposed beam ceiling and 46" Samsung SMART HDTV, a dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen with granite counters. You'll also find a spacious master suite with King bed and a 26" HDTV, and private bathroom with a beautifully tiled shower. Step outside onto the very comfortably furnished covered deck and take in the peaceful forest sights and sounds, or show off your cooking skills on the gas grill.
The lower level contains a second living area with 37" HDTV, DVD Player and VCR and a gas-log fireplace. There is also a second deck with a large hot tub, as well as a bedroom with Queen bed and 24" HDTV, a bedroom with another Queen bed and a 20" HDTV, a foosball table, and a Nintendo GameCube (bring your own games), and a full bathroom with jetted tub.
Conveniently located less than 10 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock, 2 minutes to Appalachian Ski Resort, 10 minutes to Tweetsie, and 10 minutes to Boone, you're sure to enjoy your vacation at this beautiful mountain home!

Overall, a very good place to have a very good time in the mountains!!! The only drawback was the music/lights from the Ski Mountain nearby. Everything else was awesome. We will be back soon.
