“Perfect family vacation rental home!”
You want to enjoy the jungle view, this house is it!. A beautiful spacious house inside and out the privacy is worth it all. Enjoy having all the luxuries with the views, sounds and animals of the jungle. Kids enjoyed watching all the different animals such as monkeys and lizards from the pool and yet only a 15 minute drive to the city. We enjoyed a week long vacation with no problems!
Response from the owner Angelica, We are so glad you enjoyed the privacy and setting of our house and had a great vacation. Please come back and tell family and friends about Villa Vista Verde. Bob and Lynn Soplop
“Villa Vista Verde lived up to our expectations!”
Owner and his staff were all very helpful and prompt in helping us with our stay in this beautiful villa. All the comforts of home including a new Wi-Fi system that worked well for our family. The custom teak wood kitchen and staircase were awesome. We were greeted by monkeys and iguanas! In a gated community that is easy to find if you follow the owner's instructions. The dirt road through the palm plantation was in need of a grading due to the recent rains but always passible. The owner recommendations about things to do were very good. Thank you Bob and Lynn.
Response from the owner Hi Jerry, Thanks for the nice review. We love to hear from our guests about their stay at our house. Please come again soon. Bob and Lynn Soplop
Our stay at Villa Vista Verde was a wonderful experience. We felt like home and enjoyed the peaceful place surrounded by nature. Anne L. and Brian gave us a warm welcome and both are friendly and very nice. Brian was pending about us each day, and suggested places and beaches to visit. We would undoubtedly return in a future opportunity.
Response from the owner Thanks Diana for the very nice comments about your stay at our beautiful villa. We would welcome you to come back anytime. Bob and Lynn Soplop
“Pura Vita at Villa Vista Verde”
Recently stayed at this beautiful home while in Costa Rica. We stayed exactly 5 days and enjoyed our time at the home. What you should you know about the home? -Follow the directions given to you by the owner. We quickly learned that in order to get anywhere in Costa Rica, pictures help. I don't think I saw one street signs like what we are used to here in the state. The owners directions were dead on and led us directly to the home. -If you choose to stay here, you will need transportation. Rent a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle and if you can maneuver a stick shift, get it. You will need the extra power and control to master some of the hills. The road to the home is gravel and you will be on that road for at minimum 8 minutes. -The home is fully equipped. All you need to do is pick up groceries on your way to the home. There's a Maxi Pali grocery store down the main road (approx 10 mins away). The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil or gadget you may think you need. The bathrooms have towels and soap. The laundry room even has detergent and dryer sheets. -You're in Costa Rica so you will see a few bugs. I believe the bugs may have come in when we opened the doors and a few tiny lizards or geckos came in also. I saw a few spiders but they were super tiny and seemed to be hanging around prior to our arrive. Small cobwebs in various corners of the home. -I didn't have a good experience with the internet. The manager Bert will give you a flash drive thing to plug into your computer to gain internet access. It never worked for me. The firewalls on my computer would not allow us to load the program and one of my friends traveling with me had an iPad so there wasn't a port to plug it up the device. Either way you are in Costa Rica, why sit on the computer all day? Get out and enjoy the area. -I've already mention that you need a car to maneuver the roads to the home but you also need a vehicle because the home is pretty remote. Getting to Manual Antonio, Paritta, or any nearby area will be almost impossible to navigate without a car based on the location of the home. -The home has a brand new grill which we were sad we didn't get around to using. -Beautiful pool -Sleep with the blinds open to see the sunrise in the mornings. -We saw plenty of iguanas while there. They seemed to be more amazed by us. -Lots of beautiful bird sightings -You will receive a cell phone to make local calls. Have fun figure out how to use it. :-) It's pretty old school and one of my friends finally figured out how to use it so she was in charge of our "costa rica phone" while we stayed there. This home was great. More than we could've have asked for or expected. The property manager Bert was AWESOME. We were late arriving to the home however he met us at the entrance and showed us around the home and everything else. We also had an emergency situation w/a friend and he was more than gracious to go above and beyond what we could ever ask for us. He was truly an angel and I will be forever grateful to him. The process to rent this home was seamless as well. Bob called me prior to booking the home to answer any of my questions and checked in with us after our first night to make sure everything was okay. I would totally recommend this home to anyone especially families or a large group. I traveled with 3 friends and the home felt HUGE to us. We had so much room I kind of wish I would've invited more friends join us. So know that this house can accommodate a large group. I could go on and on about this home. The reviews were helpful and I believe the description of the home is spot on. If you choose to rent this home while in Costa Rica I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Thanks Bob, Lynn, Bert, and Alita (sorry Alita for calling you so many times. That Costa Rica phone was a little tricky)
“Great Place to stay”
We had a great time in Manual Antonio and it was nice to stay alittle outside the crammed tourist area. The house is very nice and not to far from any of the activities. The squirrel monkeys seemed to come through around 9am and they worked the trees and were then on their way.
“Christmas In Villa Vista Verde, 2014”
My family and I had the best vacation ever and were lucky enough to have stayed in Villa Vista Verde just a few miles from Manuel Antonio. The house was super comfortable with all the comforts you expect such as a/c, gourmet kitchen (which we used almost every night), nicely appointed bathrooms, beautiful jungle landscaping, & a friendly iguana that kept us entertained sunning by the front door each day. We were also lucky enough to see various troops of monkeys very early in the morning making their way from one side of the trees by the pool to their next destination. This place is truly magical place starting from when you turn off the main highway into the Palm Planation which takes you to the gated subdivision where Villa Vista Verde is located. If we ever go back to Manuel Antonio/Quepos, we will definitely stay at this villa again.
We had 6 people in our party and this house was absolutely perfect. I'd go into more detail, but everyone else seemed to cover it in their reviews. Rainmaker park is a must see. The whole process was easy as pie and I can't think of one (even slightly) negative thing to say about it. I cannot wait to go back again and when we do we will definately stay here. You don't even have to leave the property to see so many animals, insects, lizards, frogs, butterflies, birds and monkeys. It was nice to be able to sit at your own pool and literally view these things from your chair.
We love Costa Rica and this house made the trip even more wonderful. The living area is open and spacious. Kitchen is large and well-equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable, each with their own bathroom. One of our favorite features was the pool which overlooks the jungle behind the house. The area has plenty of things to offer and the owners, Bob and Lynn, provided great suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We stayed at the house for 6 days and still had things in the area we didn't get a chance to do. One gem Bob and Lynn told us about was the Rainmaker Park (about 15 minutes away) which takes you through the rain forest. The park even offers night tours for the adventurous. Property managers Bert and alita live just up the road and were very helpful, providing answers to any questions you might have. We loved staying at this house and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy what this region has to offer.
“Wonderful Jungle Gettaway”
We spent five days at Villa Vista Verde and had a great time. The villa is spacious and well equipped - from dishes to beach towels and more. With a great view of the jungle from the pool in the back yard we watched a number of "locals" pass through, from squirrel monkeys to iguanas. We even spotted two "guard" frogs who appeared on either side of the garage door welcoming us home each night. The villa is close to lots of attractions and the property managers, Bert and alita, were very helpful when we were planning things to do. Bob and Lynn, the homeowners, were also very helpful when we were planning the details of our trip. Bob and Lynn were a great source of information about local sights to see and general information about Costa Rica, like what type of currency to use and where to buy groceries. All-in-all we had a great stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
“Calm in the Palms”
After some wonderful adventures in Costa Rica. eg.- volcano walks in La Fortuna and mountain roads and zip-lines in Monteverde - it was wonderful for our group of six (two children) to reach the beaches of Manual antonio and the calm that is Villa Vista Verde. The house is perfect with a great pool and deck. Bob (owner)and Bert (friendly neighbour) made excellent suggestion regarding beaches for children and restaurants. Quepos and all it's activities is only short drive away. This was our favourite stop in Costa Rica.
