“Great Getaway”

Reviewed 12 Feb 2011

This was our second year having the family stay in this home.We had my son's wedding this time and it was wonderful. This house has it all. It is private, the kitchen is very spacious and the view is breathtaking. The dock is shared with a lake home owner ,who is very friendly . The only hangup we had this year was a reservation problem but I do believe the system is working good now and the front desk handled the issue well. We are staying again this year

“Peaceful, tranquil, beautiful”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2011

I wish I owned and lived in the large house! In May, it was beautiful, very tranquil (except for all the laughter coming from our group of 50-80 yr. old gals!). A few of us walked down to the RV / cabin sites, swimming area and boat ramp (nice walk). If you're going just to fish, the cabins would be okay, but if you're going for relaxation, I'd recomend the large house. It would be good for families with older kids. Little kids could be a bit worrisome as the lake is literally only steps from the house. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space and an exceptional view from both inside and outside on the large deck.. Well worth the drive (which is beautiful too!).

“Family Reunion 2010”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2011

We rented the home as the location for a family reunion of about 40 people. The scenery and wildlife were spectacular. The tables and chairs met our needs for the 4 nightly potlucks. We could have used more utensils and cooking pots but with equipment we brought from home in our motor homes we managed quite well. No one actually slept overnight in the house because the 2 couples in charge came in Motor homes which were parked in the RV park. The living area and bar area were comfortable and convenient for visiting. The younger children had room to roam and the less agile had a place to sit in comfort. We set up most meals on the deck. The resort has something for every age group, camping, moteling, Rving, fishing, boating, hiking or just sitting on the deck watching the eagles and osprey.

“Wow what Fun!”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2011

We ( family, extended family and friends) Where not only at the house but as well, in the Motel. What a great get away. We swam, fished, played games, ate and ate. This is a Must Go! Very comfortable, had just everything, fantastic surroundings. And the Staff, 5 Stars Right there. Will be visiting every year. Our Family loves Loon Lake!!!
