“This place offers the best of all worlds”
My boyfriend and I spent a week at this spectacular villa and can't wait to come back next year. We were greeted by Louie upon arrival and he escorted us to our underground parking space and walked us up to the villa. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the villa was the breathaking views; you have the ocean to the left and the mountains to the right. It was the perfect combination of water and nature. Louie explained the resort's amenities, including a fully equiped fitness facilty and lagoon. The villa is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a high end home. We visit Hawaii once a year and have stayed at several high end hotels, including the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki, Fairmont in Wailea, etc., and this villa is up there with the best accommodations the islands have to offer. The best part of the stay was that we always looked forward to coming back to the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. We often drove to Waikiki for shopping or to visit friends during the day, and enjoyed coming back to the Ko Olina area at night as it was peaceful and quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The drive is only about 35 minutes so we truly had the best of both worlds in staying at this resort. We also enjoyed walking from the villa to Roy's for their happy hour specials as well as the shopping center nearby. There is a small market and a good variety of food and restaurants at the shopping center. We feel like we've uncovered a hidden treasure by finding this place. We are excited to return soon!
“First rate all the way”
This location goes beyond all expectations. Everyone visiting Hawaii has preconceived ideas and expectations, this condo goes well beyond what you are expecting. I highly suggest this triple a location and enjoy the area! Fabulous
“Fantastic accommodations in a beautiful resort.”
Our third time at the Ko Olina Beach Villas and our second time renting from these owners. That should say it all.
“Everything we were looking for..and more”
Myself, my husband, our son and my mother stayed at the Ko Olina Beach Villa from July 23 to august 8, 2013. The condo had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, large and even included beach toys for our son. The view from the lanai was so spectacular that we had dinner at the condo every night to make sure we could see the sunset. We really enjoyed our lagoon as the beach was never crowded, compared to the other lagoons located in front of the Marriott and the Disney Resort. Although my husband's conference was in Honolulu, we are glad we did not stay in Waikiki. We recommend the Ko Olina to everyone who is looking for a nice, quiet vacation. It was an expensive vacation, but it was worth every penny.
“Ko Olina is a wonderful place”
Great view, great location, wonderful facilities, great staff, well furnished and well kept place.
“Sun all day and the sounds of the waves all night”
This was our second stay at the Villas, first in this unit. The unit was clean and beautifully finished. The staff on site are incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful. The highlight of this particular unit, for us, was its proximity to the water providing beautiful views, often with whales spouting and jumping during the day, and the soothing sounds of the ocean all night.
“Great holiday at an outstanding resort.”
My wife and I recently stayed at the Beach Tower at the Ko Olina Beach Resort. The resort staff are the best, Chris and Karen at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. The condo was well kept and very comfortable and the ocean view is amazing. I would recommend this resort to anyone interested in a relaxing vacation in a perfect location.
“Wonderful Unit! Resort has some flaws”
We rented Bt1003 for 8 days this year. The unit is exactly as pictured and a perfect place to call 'home' for a week! Ko Olina's resort area is fabulous and beautiful! The kitchen was nicely stocked, the bathrooms were clean and modern, the furniture/tv's were all comfy and in great condition... and the view! It made us feel like anything in the world is possible! So inspiring. The owners could not have been more thorough and accomodating to us from our first contact through receipt of our refund check (a quick 2 weeks after our trip). The unit includes beach towel service, which was wonderful! And access to the fitness center for workouts. Only downfall to the unit is no housekeeping. All I wanted was clean floors. I am happy to sweep and vacuum floors, but when I have to call down to the front desk repeatedly for a vacuum and still receive no vacuum, I am not a happy camper. The sand build up in the carpets was horrid after a few days. The major downfall to this complex (this is a slam on the complex, not the unit) is the pools are not heated... read: freezing pool water in December. The hot tub did not work and the 'kids' pool was ice cold while the 'adult/quiet' pool was a tad warmer. The ocean water was also very cold and the winds were extreme so we ended up doing a lot more indoors or at neighboring resorts (read: heated pools over there). Another minus to the property is the grills were out of propane for 3 days! We could not grill out so we went out (ok, fine) but sometimes after long days we just wanted to eat at home. If you have small children the frigid pool and ocean water made this a tough trip to please. This is why we spent significant time next door. For such a glam property it was incredibly disappointing to spend our hard earned, much needed vacation at a venue without what we considered an enjoyable pool area. I would absolutely rent this unit again, but only if the pool heaters have been repaired and a vacuum is accessible to the unit.
