well equipped villa, well located for all amenities. East walk to lots of great bars and restaurants. Sunin and his team were excellent, couldn't have been more helpful. Pool was lovely, villa really comfortable, would definitely go back.

“Wonderful week”

Zeytin Koru is like a small hotel exclusive to your party in an ideal location with stunning views of the rock tombs and surrounding hills. The villa has everything you need to make your holiday special including one of the cheapest supermarkets a stones throw from the garden and a 24 hour bakery a bit further the opposite way where a loaf of delicious crusty bread was less than 30p. They even slice it for you! Each of the 4 en suite bedrooms are situated so that they are completely private. Sitting on the balcony early morning and after dark was idyllic. Wish we could have stayed much longer! The manager Sinan and Mehmet and the rest of the team ensured we had what ever we needed to make the most of our time there including airport transfer and a brilliant boat trip which included a delicious meal that also catered for the veggies in our family who were also delighted to find that restaurants have more than enough choices to keep them well fed. Best place we ate in was Metin Pizza and Pide mainly because the food was good, very reasonable priced and the waiters were terrific with the little ones showing them magic tricks and making them kids cocktails free of charge! One of my 9 year old granddaughters favourite pastimes at the villa was learning how to dive and then along with her dad perfecting a somersault into the pool. Something you just cant do in at the public swimming baths at home. Zeytin Koru is wonderful, stay there. Dalyan is beautiful, go there!

“Fantastic villa in a great location”

Reviewed 6 Feb 2011

We stayed at villa Zeytin Koru in august 2010. This was our first visit to Turkey and we read lots of good reviews about the villa and Dalyan before the trip. Everything exceeded our expectations. The villa was perfect! Large, very clean and well maintained. The garden and pool were ideal with plenty of space for a large family group to relax and swim. The villa has the best plot in Dalyan, just a couple of minutes from the lovely main street. This is generally unspoilt and comes alive at night with a host of good restaurants and bars. Although quite close to this lively street we didn't find it noisy at all. We found the locals very friendly and not too pushy. We tried several restaurants, mainly from the recommendations in the visitors book, and found them all to be very good. The jeep safari was our most enjoyable organized trip, but we found hiring one of the river boats to ourselves was excellent value. The captain we had was very friendly and was willing to go wherever we wanted at a very reasonable daily rate. It does get very hot in august so the pool was well used. We shall definitely be coming back to Dalyan and will not look any further than this villa!

“Location outstanding villa and pool superb”

This was our 10th private villa rental and by far the best for the older family members as a 100 Metre walk takes you to the start of the resort where you can sit having a drink or a meal overlooking the river watching the boats and looking across to the rock tombs which are illuminated at night , The swimming pool was large enough for all of us the only concern I had was the last step into the pool as it was a little high for my mother ( aged 74 ) and a non swimmer so most people wont have a problem as for eating out if you have never been to Dalyan before you will enjoy the restaurants as in 2 weeks not one of us had a bad meal ( party of 7 ) If you like a nice beach a ?2.50 ( approx ) boat trip down the river takes you to one of the best you will ever visit and the boat journey is wonderful or you could take the local Dolmus ( small bus ) for ?2.00 (approx ) to the other end of the beach where the Turtle sanctuary is ( free entrance but donations are welcome ) you can also do boat trips we did the one to Koycegiz which is a small town at the other end of the lake where we visited the local market and then relaxed with a beer overlooking the lake on the way back we had a swim and BBQ and finally a mud bath before returning to Dalyan , what was really nice about Villa Zeytin Koru was all bedrooms had ensuite facilities which is not easy to find and finally we asked alison & Paul to book our transfers to and from the airport which went perfect and all communications after we had paid our deposit were prompt and helpful much better than dealing with big companies so many thanks for the rental of your superb villa and I hope to book again in the future regards Steve Morgan

“A villa with "Wow" factor in a stunning location.”

Our second stay in villa Zeytin Koru the temperature is perfect in May/June and this large villa is ideal for a family looking for something a bit special with loads of space, a huge pool and easy access to amenities. The kitchen is very well equipt with plenty of everything. Love the different themes of the bath/bedrooms. Lots of personal detail to the decor throughout the villa. There is a lovely breeze that comes across the villa late morning to evening every day and is very welcome. It is a naturally cool villa but has air-con throughout. It has so many places to sit and relax and enjoy the view of the tombs, but evenings on the balcony when the kids are tucked up is our favourite. There is a new playground nearby loads of very reasonable restaurants. We loved the bakers round the corner and a short walk to the restaurants by the river where you can watch turtles feeding. Everyone is so friendly there and the villa owners told us everything we needed to know before we went. We will be returning again very soon.

“perfect holiday”

Reviewed 25 Nov 2010

There were 11 of us with ages rangeing from 1 year to 57 and we all thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful villa. There was everthing we needed and much more. Dalyan is a beautiful town and the villa is in a perfect location. We all enjoyed our stay so much that we've booked the villa again for next year.

“Don't gamble with your holiday stay here!”

Dalyan is a relaxing Turkish experience mainly for family and couples or group of friends looking to un-wind. Plenty of bars and nightlife but not what the hardcore nightclub goers would consider sufficient. The location overlooking the Rock tombs and just a short walk (couple of minutes) from the main hustle and bustle. The very private Villa (with no neighbours on all sides!) and surrounded by private walls with trees and shrubs offering great privacy really did tick all the boxes. The pool was outstanding cleaned daily and offering a shallow end and deep end, good size. Next to the pool is a stone built BBQ and Turkish type summer house which was great for out door dining. The villa had plenty of seating throughout and plenty of sun lounges around the pool every thing has been thought of here! There is a fantastic large balcony which overlooks the lit up tombs at night, really nice place to chill out with drinks. Tv and DVD player to keep you entertained along with a selection of board and card games. There is a well stocked supermarket within 100 meters if the villa but I would suggest you visit the butcher in town to get your meat for the BBQ. If your looking for a bar try the M&M; Rock bar just around the corner the guy that runs the place is very friendly and seems to us runs the pub to meet new people and enjoy himself rather than making money. Every day the villa was visited by Cats, birds and even a flock of chickens came to say hello, the animals are extremely friendly everywhere in Dalyan and I need to stress animals are everywhere not just at the villa in the bars on the streets, but they are all well kept by locals but for us this just added to the Turkish experience. Mosquitoes were a nightmare! Please be prepared we got eaten alive sitting outside as soon as dusk hits they come out in force all over the resort. I would defiantly suggest you wear long clothes in the evening and using a local repelant recommended by the locals.
