“Fantastic cottage in a brilliant location”
This is a fantastic cottage for families. We are a family of four and we stayed in the cottage with friends who also have two children. The upstairs suited us perfectly because the four bedrooms are divided equally between the central staircase, giving us our own space. The downstairs is also spacious and the cottage generally is very well equipped. The owners, Bernard and Hazel were very helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay at the cottage. It is clear that they want you to enjoy your holiday and are happy to assist in whatever way possible. We will definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage.
“Home from home, clean & comfortable”
We had a lovelely holiday, the house was spotless & very comfortable with plenty of room, and very well equipped. We will definitely be booking again. The courtyard garden is great.
Owners very obliging - nothing too much trouble. Home from home and not clinical or "second-hand". Exceptionally suited to two generations of a family allowing space and privacy for individual interests. Quiet location as village is by-passed. Excellent selection of "eateries" suitable for all tastes and budgets. Avoid use of front entrance as opens direct on to road albeit a quiet road. Rear door is referable.
“Delightful cottage in unspoilt Norfolk village”
Corner Cottage is a delightful and surprisingly spacious old cottage in the heart of Snettisham, NW Norfolk, only a short drive from the sea and Rspb nature reserve. It has been elegantly and comfortably furnished, is extremely well equipped and offers a high degree of comfort whilst retaining period charm.
“Excellent and well located holiday cottage, very well equipped”
We were made to feel very welcome throughout the reservation process, and any subsequent questions were answered promptly and positively. This is a great home for a week with grandchildren, close to beaches and all sorts of other sights etc. The house is well arranged and very comfortable and the level of equipment almost overwhelming. Strongly recommend it for an extended family break - or for a smaller family that wants separate space for teenage children!
“Very friendly and welcoming”
5 adults and a 2 year-old spent a week here having travelled from 2 addresses in Devon for a family wedding. Arrangements prior to our visit were excellent, with each group in our party being sent a set of keys. Bernard was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Parking for 2 cars was no problem - one used the car port adjacent to the cottage and the other parked within a few yards on the road. The cottage feels like a home rather than a "rental" and is ideal for large family groups and well-equipped for babies. (stair gates, buggy, cot, children's crockery, beach ball etc.) The guest folder was packed with useful information about the cottage and the area. The rooms are large and comfortable, but you might need to tidy away the ornaments if you have small children with you! The kitchen is superbly equipped with more crockery and glassware than we have ever seen in a holiday cottage! Beware the low ceiling there with its pendant light - we all hit our heads on it at some stage during the week! Can't comment on the Tvs and Playstation as we didn't use them, but having 2 TVs must be a bonus for large groups. The courtyard garden is secure and ideal for eating out of doors - other family members joined us one evening and we had plenty of room. Although the cottage is opposite the Rose and Crown pub we weren't aware of any excessive noise. Apart from the wedding, we found more than enough things to do during the week as Snettisham is ideally located for everything from bird-watching to steam trains to days on the beach. All in all, a lovely week!
Response from the owner Thank you for taking the time and trouble to prepare your review of our cottage. Much appreciated Regards Bernard & Hazel
“a family weekend at corner cottage”
We booked a reservation at corner cottage in april to celebrate my fathers 76 birthday. I originally was concerned with the nix of age from 16 to 76, but corner cottage worked well. The 2 stting rooms were ideal for the difference in age when watching tv etc, both rooms very spacious. The kitchen had everything and we cooked some great family meals with local produce. The sleeping arrangement was fabulous. Needless to say we have booked for my mothers birthday in September.
“Comfortable, spacious, well-equipped”
A most comfortable and spacious cottage in the centre of Snettisham. Good shops and pubs in the village. A great centre for bird watching and exploring. Excellent farm shops nearby. Even in a cool and windy November we were fine - I imagine it is lovely in the garden in the summer.
We found the cottage by chance, and were blown away, it has everything that you need, from the smallest kitchen utensils the large TV in both rooms! it is ideally located for Kings Lynn or into Hunstanton, and we will be returning
“Great family holiday near the coast”
We have been to this house a couple of times now and have had a great break both times. Once we went for a weekend and then we went for a week. The cottage is a lot bigger than it looks. We went for the weekend with extended family and there were 4 adults and 6 children and we didn't feel crammed in at all. There is plenty to do with children in the local area (will need to travel by car) and our boys love Dinoadventure (about 40mins away) and also the Pirates Crazy Golf on Hunstanton sea front. I've already recommended this property to friends and they have all enjoyed their stay too.
