“5star”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2014

Went to Prague for a chilly mid week break. I had been told by a friend about a lovely apartment in Prague. We booked for a Monday Tuesday at the end of January. We found the apartment down a side street, with snow on the sidewalk and really cold. The apartment was beautifully decorated and finished. Really tastefully. We were shown around the apartment be the agent and were very impressed by his English, and attention to detail. The apartment has everything you would need and more. Wine in the fridge (charged for separately and good value). There is a great sound system that plays music around the apartment, even in the bathroom!!! and what a bathroom. The bath must be for someone 6'6! And plenty of hot water. Brilliant. We found a book left to tell us how to get around the city and restaurants nearby. We had a lovely couple of days and ate far too well!!! We had a lovely walk through the parks, over the river and spent ages wandering around the old town. Really beautiful and friendly. We even found some time to watch a movie on my laptop on the flat screen telly in the apartment as there was a Hdmi cable available as well. We will definitely be back in some warmer weather to see the parks in their summer splendour. Well recommended.

“Stylish , elegant and superbly equipped”

Stayed for a short pre-Christmas city break, a present from our sons (so can't comment on value). The apartment is decorated, furnished and equipped to the highest standards, and really welcoming to return to after a day's exploration of Prague. Arrangements worked flawlessly, and the owner's local representative was very helpful. Location is on a quiet backstreet, but just off a main thoroughfare. Tram and metro within a couple of minutes walk, then only a few minutes ride into the city centre - using the excellent public transport is cheap and simple. Main shopping district is only ten minutes walk away, historic centre twenty minutes walk, but remember that the walk back is all uphill! Good local shops, bars and restaurants just around the block, and the local Christmas market at Novesti Miru is considerably cheaper than those in the tourist areas! Prague is a really beautiful city, full of interest, and we would love to stay again sometime in this stunning apartment.

“Fabulously exceeded our expectations”

My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights from Cape Town, South africa. From the efficiency of our booking enquiry, to the friendly greeting of check-in and arrival - the service and assistance was excellent. We can honestly say the apartment was even more perfect than we imagined and would return and recommend it to anyone without hesitation. From the furnishings to the location, we were thrilled with our choice. Truly a fabulous find. Juliette and Gavin Erasmus, Cape Town, South africa

“highly recommend this apartment”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2013

Our family (2 adults and a 12 year old) stayed at this fabulous apartment in February, it surpassed our expectations in every way. It was cold and snowing in Prague but that all added to the atmosphere, it was lovely returning to the warm and comfortable apartment after a full day sightseeing. The apartment is beautifully decorated, the beds were really comfortable, and there is a super modern bathroom and kitchen with all mod-cons. The little extras, nespresso machine, Wi-Fi, l'occitane toiletries, etc. were all wonderful. The public transport in prague is excellent (even in the snow - plentiful and on time), tram 22 stops at the top of the street and the metro station is a couple of minutes away (spotlessly clean and easy to use). Prague is a fantastic city, the palace is a must(tram 22 takes u to the door) - the views are amazing,we also enjoyed prague zoo, a trip to terezin camp is a must if you are interested in history and WW2. We much prefer apartments to hotel rooms and this was certainly 5 star. thank you to James (made the whole booking process really easy and lots of relevant info) and also Kamal and his wife who were very efficient and helpful.

“The place from which to explore Prague”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2013

This apartment is fantastic in every way - well kept, nicely decorated, great kitchen & thoughtful hosts - detailed notes re-apartment, local & broader area. Very comfortable all around. It's also right on a main tram line, making exploring Prague extremely easy. Highly recommend as your base in this beautiful city.

“Way beyond the usual”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2012

We've seen apartments in quite a few cities over the years, and the contrast to this one in Prague couldn't be clearer: No. 46 goes way beyond the usual services and amenities one can expect from a rental in this price range. The apartment is beautifully furnished in a tasteful blend of old and new design. Massive wooden tables, antique mirrors, cupboards and chests of drawers go hand in hand with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The vestibule, with its huge bellows in the center, resembles a museum room. The spacious living room and kitchen are connected by an open wooden double door that creates a sense of aristocratic elegance. Chandeliers, carpets, wall photographs, green plants and dried flowers round off the picture. It is simply the most remarkable apartment we have ever seen. We were particularly impressed with the many careful details of service and comfort this apartment offers. It starts with the ample information you get when you book. You learn useful things like where the atms are in the airport and what taxi provider has the cheapest fares. The information about restaurants and places to visit is not only long but also top quality. It has directed us to some unforgettable cafés and restaurants. Shopping, public transport, even places for picnic - every imaginable detail is covered. Another loving extra is the excellent hifi system that comes with a hand-picked selection of CDs of various musical styles, ranging from electronica to jazz, blue grass, and reggae. There is even a dock to connect your iPhone/iPad and an audio input to connect your iPad. There is a surround speaker system in the living room, and as if this weren't enough, there are speakers also in the bathroom, which makes for a surprisingly pleasant experience. A lot more could be mentioned - e.g. the super-king size beds, the nespresso coffee machine and the exquisitely quiet location - but you will find all that out by yourself when you visit Prague.

“Made for a queen!”

What a palace. This was the end of our European escapade. It was truly the grand finale. Everything that could've been provided was provided, even up to date magazines. If you are looking for a palace at a non-palatial price, a great location and the comfort of home, look no further. Once you stay here you'll return, no doubt. I know we will.

“Amazing Stay!”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2011

This place far exceeded my expectations-- it was so beautiful, and so well stocked that I felt at home immediately. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Prague now that I've been here. Truly a wonderful experience (and I'm a picky little princess)!

“Puts most hotels to shame”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2011

If these guys did a place like this in every city I wanted to visit, I'd never stay in a hotel again. You'd have to pay a fortune to stay in a hotel suite and get the same level of comfort and privacy. It's got everything you need without all the drawbacks you get in a hotel. Okay, maybe room service, but with your own stylish kitchen, great coffee machine and well-stocked bar, you won't miss it. Fantastic location too. Loved every minute of our stay there.

“The perfect place for a city break!”

Reviewed 4 Mar 2011

The apartment was amazing! What a beautiful place to stay in such a beautiful city. We are still raving about it to friends! James was incredibly helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The apartment is very well set up. Everything has been thought of even down to small things like the cds, dvds and books. We especially enjoyed the bathroom with the L'Occitane products and the music system which links in. As well as being beautifully decorated, the apartment was extremely comfortable. It was also lovely and warm which was much needed in the cold winter weather of Prague! I would definitely recommend this apartment!
