Very Good

“A welcoming and comfortable condo with a great view”

We stayed in unit 501 on the top floor of the building, with a great outlook over the beach and down towards the village of Oistins. The unit was well-appointed and comfortable, and having arrived late in the evening we were grateful to discover the refrigerator stocked with all the necessities for breakfast the following morning, so that we didn't immediately need to go shopping. The doorman, Caesar, was very helpful, especially when we had the one hiccup during our stay, a broken water pump which caused a brief interruption to the water supply in the unit. The rooms are generously sized; especially the bathroom/shower and the kitchen is well-equipped. The only addition I would suggest would be an electric jug.

We stayed as a family of 4 in apartment #403 on the third floor. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch or dinner on the balcony overseeing the ocean was a big plus. The easy access to the beach was great.

“Beautiful Vacation Rental”

This was a beautiful rental. We stayed in unit 501 on the top floor. The unit was clean, comfortable and as advertised. The rental was close to Oistins which had a great fish fry every Friday. We were also lucky to be in Barbados during the fish festival so we were able to enjoy the Oistins fish festival on multiple occasions. Additionally, Oistins had a supermarket, bank and gas station where you could purchase almost anything you needed. Close by to the north was the St. Lawrence Gap which had good restaurants and stores. The beach was gorgeous and the waves were suitable for all ages. We would definitely recommend this location for those traveling with children. Our 5 year old son loved the beach and the pool. The views from the deck were also excellent. We would recommend this unit to anyone wishing to have a pleasant experience in Barbados and look forward to returning in the future.

We rented condo 403 on the fourth floor for a vacation in mid-March. We had a good experience. The unit has 2 bedrooms, living area, large tv, wireless internet, full kitchen (including dishwasher), and balcony with table and lounge chairs. The property is located on the south of the island within walking distance of Oistens (of fish fry fame) and a short bus ride to St Lawrence Gap. A bus stop is right outside the home, giving you easy access to travel to Bridgetown and other places around the island. It is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, and church. We spent quite a few evenings just cooking meals for ourselves. The beach is not crowded and the ocean has calm waves that make a swim relaxing. Unfortunately, the beach is not very wide at this point, so the surf often covers much of the sandy area. There is also a lot of brown weed covering the sand and in the water. Just off shore is very rocky, so bring your water shoes. The pool area in back of the condo is very nice. Trees shade the lounge chairs and the pool is comfortable, giving you a nice break from the ocean waves. The staff was friendly. The welcome basket with local Bajan foods was a nice touch. The condo itself is in good repair, however we reported a light bulb that needed replacing to staff a few days into our stay, and the bulb was still on order when we left over a week later. The beds and pillows were very firm. I'm glad I had room to bring my own pillow. Overall we had a nice stay and would rent this property if we return to Barbados.

We had a great stay in rm#503 Maxwell Beach Villa. The condo was exactly like advertised. The whole experience starting with dealing with albert to our 2 wk. vacation was incredible. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. You felt safe and cared for at all times. It is a small private setting with a breathtaking view of the ocean . You are close to all amenities. Be sure to visit Oistin fish market and St. Lawrence Gap both are very close. The apt. itself was clean and neat . We will highly recommend this spot to any of our friends and plan on returning there ourselves.

“The perfect location for the ideal stay in Barbados”

My wife and I had our best stay in Barbados to date at Maxwell Beach Condos. We had gone to the island a dozen times over the years but never stayed in this perfect little spot. The ocean was perfect with small surf and steady light nice was the breeze that we didn't turn on the air conditioning once on our entire one week stay. Out of the 15 condo owners we only saw 5 occupants that were there at it was in prime season.(Jan.) That meant that we had the pool basically to ourself. The beach was perfect with a great little restaurant right next door actually on the beach. The place itself was very clean and colorfully decorated. The balcony was very large with a great view of the ocean which made it a great place to enjoy breakfast. The staff were very courteous and always accommodating. I can't say enough about how nice this place was. There are very breezy spots in Barbados and very calm spots that can be humid... Maxwell Beach to me is the best of all for perfect paradise weather conditions.

This was an exceptionally spacious and well appointed apartment with all the mod cons, maids service and a wonderful terrace, set within a small block with very helpful conciege service. It had the benefit of being located right on the beach as well as having it's own beautifully maintained gardens and swimming pool and off street parking.It is positioned a short drive from both the airport and Bridgetown so a car is not a necessity as the local amenities in Oistons are only five minutes walk away. We wanted something special as we were getting married and we were certainly not disappointed. We would recommend this apartment and will stay there again. Posted by CPP of Mayfair, London

“A relaxing and comfortable stay”

We rented apartment 203 over the 2011-12 year-end period. We enjoyed our stay throughout, the place was so well kept, clean and the services provided were a+. The apartment is spacious, well furnished with all amenities, plus a huge balcony. Indoor/outdoor parking also available (and safe). We highly recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a roomy apartment rather than staying at a (pricy) hotel. The pool and beach are just steps away and we had a great view on the sea. We felt secure, thanks to the kind and helpful security guard who was present 24/7 to assist us.

We loved the Maxwell beach apartments. We stayed in appartment 302. When we first arrived my wife said that the apartment is exactly like we seen on the Internet which was the first for us. All the people that work at the apartments where friendly and helpful. We loved the little beach at the back of the apartments we thought it was the best beach on the Island with the white sand and the beautiful sea. Would definitely recommend the apartments to others.

We stayed with two children under 5 in Unit 403 for a week in april 2011. This property is beautiful, clean and very well kept. The staff are fantastic and make sure you are taken care of in everyway. The condo/villa is exactly as promised and I can't say enough great things about it. My only negative is not about the building or the unit but the roads out front. The road is quite busy and the sidewalks are extremely narrow to non-existance. This is not an issue with relation to noise in the unit but the roads and sidewalks are not the greatest for walking with childeren. We managed and basically took cabs rather than walking which was fine as they are reasonably priced and the drivers are a great resource to learn about Barbadoes. Thanks for a great holiday albert
