“Superb comfort in a cental location”
Thank you Peter, A warm and helpful welcome. Everything we needed to hand. A great apartment, within easy reach of all Edinburgh has to offer and local amenities. I could ask for nothing more.
“Wonderful four day break!”
This was our first visit to Chambers Street apartment. Excellent central location, no more than 10-15 minutes walk away from the hotspots of Edinburgh. The Jazz Club down the road is a must for all music lovers! The warm welcome we received from Peter made us feel at home straight away. We were pleased with the immaculate, quality apartment. Even though its a city centre location, had the best night sleep we've had in years. We shall return and certainly recommend.
“a splendid stay”
We recently stayed in Peter Tuckers apartment on Chamber's Street and enjoyed our stay immensely. Beautiful natural light fills the bedroom and living area and the amenities are tasteful and modern. We watched the snow fall one day from the apartment across the adjacent old church roof and felt as though we were in our own little heaven. Peter provided us with a lovely mix of goodies for our first night which was much appreciated after our long travel. We hope for another chance to stay at the apartment. A must addition to your stay in Edinburgh.
“A wonderful experience - once again”
This is the third time I have stayed in the Chambers Street apartment, and once again my experience was fantastic. The apartment is superbly located in the Old Town but within an easy walk of Princes Street. Peter provides a friendly and efficient service from the time of first enquiry to check-in, and the apartment contains everything necessary for a comfortable (even luxurious) stay. It is spacious, with huge windows providing a fabulous view over the rooftops of the United Church. Everything I could wish for - I hope to return very soon!
“Couldn't have been better”
A wonderful stay, the apartment was perfect and incredibly well situated for tourist attractions and shops. Peter was very helpful, pleasant and thoughtful. It was lovely to be just across the road from the National Museum of Scotland and a short walk from the Royal Mile, and yet the flat was quiet, even at Hogmany. Excellent in every way.
“Delightful apartment, wonderful location and great landlord.”
My husband and I went to Edinburgh in November to visit our son who was studying at the University. We were lucky enough to find this apartment around the corner from where he was living. It is delightful - meticulously maintained, well appointed and centrally located. Peter met us at the apartment and gave us a quick overview and some ideas about what to do in Edinburgh. He was kind enough to stock the refrigerator with croissants for our first morning and some milk, tea and coffee. He also left a small carafe of local scotch for us to taste. All and all, we would definitely stay here again and would encourage others to do the same.
“Great first-class flat perfectly located”
The flat was well furnished with everything we could imagine. It was comfy and we felt so much at home there. Everything in the flat was quality (mattress, bath, etc). The welcome covered all bases and the starter brekky and welcome whisky were over the top grand! We were given the feeling that should we need assistance it would be immediate - but we didn't need any afterall as everything was just perfect. We would stay again without hesitation and recommend it to our choicest friends.
“Excellent experience of Edinburgh”
The apartment is perfectly located in the Old Town, close to the Royal Mile and accessible by foot to Waverley Station. It is comfortable and well-appointed, with every convenience one could want for a short stay in the city.I would happily recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh and needing accommodation in the centre of the city.
“A lovely luxury flat in a perfect spot in Edinburgh Old Town”
This is an excellent flat. Comfortable, well appointed, thoughtfully stocked and perfectly positioned for the attractions of Grassmarket, the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Old Town, yet just far enough away from them to be quiet when required. We stayed there for a week in the run-up to/first weekend of the 2013 Festival Fringe, and used it as a base for rehearsals, pre-show preparations, and scouting other shows for a professional theatre in England. All the major festival fringe multi-venues (Udderbelly/Underbelly/C Venues/Pleasance etc) are within easy walking distance, as are good restaurants, cafes and bars. The landlord was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. If I'm in Edinburgh for the festival again, I'd be delighted to stay there again.
“Wonderful apartment, loved it.”
We could not have been more pleased with the Chamber's Street City apartment. It is so clean, comfortable and convenient to key Edinburgh attractions. There were three of us and the space accommodated our needs perfectly. (Sofa bed was comfy according to our friend who slept there.) Peter Tucker, probably the nicest people we have ever met, goes to great lengths to ensure his guests feel welcome and at home. In addition to having a stocked pantry with some essentials (coffee, tea, etc.) he very thoughtfully provided us with croissants and pastries for our first morning's breakfast. We absolutely will contact Peter again when we return to Scotland, and would happily rent any property he represents.
