“La meilleure façon de visiter amsterdam en dehors des circuits t”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2014

Le séjour était fantastique, dans un quartier résidentiel qui permet de connaître la qualité de vie des hollandais, la vie à vélo, les jardins au bas de l'immeuble au fond du jardin sont super poétiques, les bars restaurants en vue des locaux loin des attrapes touristes. Le logement enfin était superbe, super confort et accueil chaleureux... Brefs meilleure adresse à Amsterdam

“Bb10 Review”

Very nice bed and breakfast in good location. Plenty of good restaurants and bars close by and within walking distance to all the main sights/attractions. Theo and Benke were very helpful.

“A warm welcome in a quiet locatin nearby amsterdam Town center”

A confortable room located in a very quiet place, close to a tube station. Theo and his wife were very helpfull and gave us good advice. A place to be recommended.

“A Cosy Home In a Great Neighborhood!”

Reviewed 20 Nov 2012

Apart from the strategic location of Bb10, which is an ant's step away from the underground metro, yet the place is quiet, very clean and peaceful. Our train was crazily delayed, we were tired and exhausted from an approximately 18 hours of train ride from Prague. Once we have finally reached the doorstep of Bb10, we were greeted by the owner himself- Theo, who warmly welcomes us into his home. The ever smiling Theo, quickly comforted us into our room which was located at the ground floor of his premise, made us a fantastic cup of coffee and treated us the mind-blowing Stroopwafels, and immediately, we seem to have forgotten the exhaustion that accompanied us. Theo is amazingly accommodative, briefed us on how to best run the town, with some great tips for a first timer like us. At times, I couldn't stop comparing him with Jack Nicholson, flamboyant and really fun to be around. The room is cosy, comfortable, spacious and clean. There's a coffee machine, a fridge, a private bathroom and lots of books to savor upon. Oh, and Theo even gave us a key chain with a bar code that will get us special discounts at a nearby supermarket. How great is that! When we were leaving on the final day, Theo was really thoughtful and generous to allow us to leave our luggages in his home while we roam the streets awaiting our flight which happened to be scheduled in the late evening. Since then, we have missed amsterdam a lot, the Stroopwafels, Theo and Bb10. Thanks Theo for having us at your home!

No words to describe the best place and price you pay for that. Do not believe to my words. Just go to any website and try to find a place to stay, so what? Thousands hotels resorts private properties, do no make a choice right away. Go to a Tripadvisor.com or Flipkey.com and read a review. I did that, and could not find any better then Bb10. Three stops by metro to the city center, or 15 minutes walk. Large bedroom, private living, bathroom, terrace to the private yard. O.K. It's just one tine to see rather than 10 times to hear about. Nobody will be sorry taking Bb10, I bet. Michael Zhukov

“5 of 5 stars “Great place to stay in amsterdam, Excellent Hos”

Reviewed 14 May 2012

Excellent place to stay. Close to the centre and easy and quick metro to the historic areas. Apartment is in a quiet residential area and was extremely comfortable with all amenities for an extended stay. Bath robes and slippers were provided together with tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh fruit and lots of guide books. Good restaurants and shops nearby. Theo was a great and friendly host. Everything was well organised beforehand and on arrival all facilities were explained fully. Theo provided good recommendations and advice on places to go etc. All this ensured that we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

“Comfy convenience”

Reviewed 12 May 2012

I stayed at Bb10 few days ago for 4 nights. As the trip was planned for a solo lady traveller in " her fourties " I was concerned about the safety and convenience of my holiday rental. I read the very positive reviews about this property and decided to go ahead and rent it. It proved to be everything I hoped for. I can't say I am well travelled, yet finding the place using public transport was very easy, thanks to Theo's excellent directions. The property is neat spacious and conveniently located. Lots of options to eat close by. I walked to literally every place I wanted to visit. The neighborhood is very safe. Theo and Beanke were helpful and unobtrusive . I'd love to stay at Bb10 at my next visit too.

“Exceeded expectations - great area, comfortable, friendly, priva”

Reviewed 21 Mar 2012

We chose this accommodation because of the excellent reviews and because we could stay for two nights only (not possible with some other rental accommodation). From the start it all felt right as the communications from Theo prior to our stay were timely, informative and friendly. The directions of how, easily and cheaply, to get to the apartment were spot-on and made the journey from Schipol airport straightforward. It took us about one and a quarter hours. We weren't disappointed with what we found - in fact everything exceeded our expectations. There were refreshments and a kettle to make tea - wonderful! Theo is a welcoming but not intrusive host and is very willing to give knowledgeable advice on making the most of amsterdam, if needed. There is plenty of helpful info in the apartment and well-stocked bookshelves, as well. We had everything we needed in the room and the bathroom - the dressing gowns and slippers were a great asset. Everything is very good quality and all is as described in the advertising. The area is great - a stone's throw from the amstel river and a pleasant walk from the centre of town and from the museums quarter but not overun with tourists. There is an interesting area of town - De Pijp - with cafes, restaurants, unusual shops and a market, just over the bridge the other side of the river. Very close by are good bars, cafes and restaurants. Theo recommended De Ysbreeker (very close) which we visited more than once as the atmosphere, service, food and drink were all great. All in all, an excellent, good value stay. Our thanks to Theo.

“A great weekend in amsterdam”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2011

We stayed three nights at Bb10 Bed&Bath;, it was very good. Theo and his wife are very welcoming and friendly : they suggested us to join them while they were having a drink with some friends in the garden :) They gave us a map, and a lot of useful indications about amsterdam. The place is clean, silencious and the room is very nice. The house is quite near from the center of amsterdam (15 min walking). We recommand BB 10 !!! Thanks Theo. Virginie and Milan.
