Casa De Mar is Vanuatu's most popular luxury family holiday home and rated "Top Vacation Rental - Vanuatu" by Tripadvisor for 2015, 2016 and 2018.

The home is super family friendly in Vanuatu with a fenced swimming pool, fully fenced property, swings in the trees and of course the hammocks are always a winner! Built for a family that included 4 children under 4, everything about safety has been thought of, down to the sand bench inside the grounds for children to play safely whilst Mum and Dad relax. This property is deal for two families to share.

Pamper yourself in your own private luxurious 4 bedroom beach retreat located on the famous Whitesands Beach just 15 minutes from downtown Port Vila.

Casa De Mar has its own private, spectacular pure white sand beach and a coastline with lots of swimming holes and places to explore with spectacular sunsets.

The Villa has all the comforts of home including a modern gourmet kitchen with the latest appliances including espresso machine, dishwasher and great BBQ on the verandah. Free Wifi, Sat TV an extensive DVD and book library in the lounge. The bedrooms are generous in size and two open onto separate terraces. Large indoor open plan living opens to a further 100m2 of covered outdoor entertaining with sweeping ocean views

Step from the lounge or master bedroom into the wet edge saltwater swimming pool or onto the fabulous beach. There is breaking reef out front where the guests have caught many a fresh lobster for dinner.

There are several swimming holes along the beach and in front of the property. Adjacent to the beach is an outdoor daybed/fare which is an oasis of relaxation or used as a separate dining area at night.

A 150m walk along the beach is Vanuatu's best Restaurant, "Tamanu on The Beach" where you are welcome for breakfast lunch and dinner and Ripples Cafe with Sal's famous curries is about 3 mins drive along the road, you really are spoilt for choice.

The property is over an acre in size planted with tropical trees and gardens. Your year round all-inclusive tariff includes includes exclusive use of the entire property for up to 11 guests.

Also you will have two amazing housegirls, Asnet and Wendy to look after all the housekeeping during your stay so you can just relax

We can arrange airport transfers for you. Babysitters can also be arranged on request. We have a recommended chef team whom can prepare everything from a gourmet meal for you at home or a Melanesian feast on the beach

“Peaceful Bliss”

I just loved every day of our 7 days spent here. The property was excellent and with all the amenities and chattels available we could not have wished for more. It was great to have a vehicle at our disposal and the maid's were awesome as was the gardener. The restaurant 200 meters up the beach was that good we went there 3 times. “Another 10 days in paradise!”

Returning to Casa De Mar this year was a much anticipated holiday...Our extended family didn't think last year's stay could possibly be equalled, but it was. The house and surrounds are beautiful and maintained immaculately by the same wonderful staff - Asnet, Wendy and Phillip. Waking up each morning to the amazing view across from our private beach, swimming and snorkelling in the great rock pools to the right of the property and taking a leisurely stroll along the beach (to the left) toward Tamanu for cocktails and the occasional meal are moments in time indelibly etched in our minds. We are already planning for a return visit next year. Our daughter, her husband and their two children spent a day with us at the property (they had been staying at LeLagon Resort), and were adamant that for their next visit to Port Vila they would be booking Casa De Mar! So thank you once again Glen, Asnet, Wendy and Phillip for helping to make our return to your beautiful property so enjoyable. All going well we shall see you next year. Sue, Steve, Lindy and Nikki

We chose to stay at Casa De Mar because we wanted to be a bit out of the main town in Port Vila. The house was beautiful! right on our very own private beach. Perfect! The staff were so wonderful. Wendy, Asnet and Philip were very lovely and helpful. They came during the week to do the washing and gardening. Couldn't have chosen a more perfect pace for our stay. We are definitely coming back! Perfect for Families!!

We would highly recommend a stay at Cara De Mar. The location was excellent. It was nice to be out of town and have our own privacy. The accmommodation was a 'home away from home' and had everything that we needed, and there was more than enough space for the family. Our experience was enhanced by getting to know the housekeepers and gardener. They are lovely people and we learnt so much about the Ni-Van culture.

“a little disapointing”

after leaving brisbane via sydney to port villa quite a long day got to casa de mar dying for a cold rum & coke and ice maker in fridge not working {disconnected}also cockroaches running around everywhere {around & in oven {which didn,t work too well either}in the draws & cupboards as well so everything we used had to be rinsed off. informed owner glen but pest control didn,t get there for 3 days.all they did was get around with spray cans which didn,t fix the problem !!no console game as advertised either.light switch hanging out of wall in room beside garage & dble power point hanging out of external wall by pool !! not too safe if young kids were around glen said electrician was coming but didn,t show in 10 days we were there. i think that since house is on the market it,s been let go a bit.pretty dissapointing considering what we paid. would not return.beds wern,t too comfortable either.

The house, setting and staff are amazing. We stayed as a group of 9 for a week, and on several of the days we never left the section. Swimming, Baminton, Eating and Sleeping. Glen was very helpful, a pleasure to deal with.

“The most relaxing holiday ever”

We recently stayed here with four couples and four children under four and all agreed that we could not have had a better holiday. The house was perfect for children with a large fenced beach area for them to play in, toys provided and a fenced pool. The great thing about this house is that it is on the white sand, surf beach rather than the lagoon. The view from the house is wonderful Glen and his staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. At low tide we loved the rockpools right in front of the house and breakfast at Tamanu Resort next door was fantastic. The one small thing that could be improved is that the room outside the house is not quite as comfortable as the rooms inside. We hope to come back one day because we can't imagine a better place for a family holiday.

“What a great place to stay!”

We recently had a wonderful week staying at this outstanding property. The warm welcome we received on arrival by the housekeeper was delightful, with fresh fruit, flowers, bottled water and a complimentary bottle of wine all included. The house is very well presented and set-up, and caters for open plan living with quality inclusions, has also an extensive DVD and book library collection. House and gardens were well maintained by a team of very friendly and obliging staff. The owners supplied a car for the guests to use which was great and another added bonus. The fact that you have a beautiful beach at your door step with safe swimming holes and also your own pool on the property left us spoilt for choice. Contact with the owner was always friendly and helpful with the "Guest Information Sheets" provided being very informative and useful. There were 3 couples in our group and all agree that this is a great property for a relaxing holiday, one we would love to come back to one day!

“Fabulous Stay at The Vanuatu Executive Retreat”

We stayed here with our children mid September. We had the most fabulous stay. The place was very modern, the staff were extremely friendly and fenced wet edge pool was perfect with the children. The white sandy beach out front was a real bonus. We would definitely return to The Vanuatu Executive Retreat. We highly recommend it to any family traveling to Vanuatu.
