“Très beau site”
Avions l'unité 147 au RDC. Petit condo avec vue sur la mer. Confortable et assez bien équipé. Les photos sur ce site représentent très bien le condo. On a accès à des services de l'hôtel comme le bar, la piscine et les informations touristiques. Pas possible de faire de la lessive sur place, c'est seulemenet pour les gens qui sont à l'hôtel mais il y a une buanderie pas loin
Response from the owner Google Translate: Very nice site Unit 147 ground floor. Small condo overlooking the sea. Comfortable and well enough equipped. The photos on this site very well represent the condo. We have access to hotel services such as bar, pool and tourist information. Not possible to do laundry on site is for people who are at the hotel but there is a laundry not far
This studio is centrally located to good food, stores & restaurants. The view is spectacular, open your lanai & the beach is right there! The people in the resort are nice, very helpful & friendly. No resort fees & no parking fees. Laundry facility in the resort. You can grill your own fish, oysters or your catch for the day by the pool. Parking wasnt a problem for us anytime of day or night. Resort is maintained daily. Security guards walking around all the time. Maintenance people as well. Unit is very clean. The owner Veronica is the best person to work with! The a/c went down the day before we came in & the part needed to be shipped the next day. She got us a room on the hotel side at her expense! Very apologetic about the inconvenience but more than made up for it by getting us a room & for that we are very grateful! Thanks Veronica! We'll definitely stay in your place again!
“Beautiful beachfront studio”
The Islander complex is very clean, well maintained and quiet. Great location. You are a stones throw from Coconut Marketplace which is convenient. It is only a 5 minute drive into Kapaa to grocery stores, eateries etc...The owner of our unit was very good to deal with and arrangements were trouble free. We would absolutely stay again. Staff at the complex were great and friendly. Parking can be tight either get back to your room early in the evening or be prepared to park in overflow parking next door, which is not far and no problem. There is not in room Wifi but there is in the lobby. For the price you can't do much better.
Large and comfortable room and Veronica is very nice person.very helpful. She prepared blanket for me because a/C makes me cold. I enjoyed my stay at Islander on the beach!
“Kauai - What Paradise!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Islander on the Beach, and Veronica couldn't have more pleasant to do business with! The room was lovely and more than met our need.
“Simply a smart choice!”
The location of the Islander on the Beach/IOB resort is fantastic. The outdoor coconut mini-mall directly in front of the resort has was extremely convenient for picking up basic souvenirs, clothing, and convenient store type items. A little more about the resort is the lobby was open air and pleasant and has a dvd rental machine, the pool was quaint and had a tiki bar, and there are ice machine(s)sporadically placed on the property. Also The IOB parking did get filled in the evening. There are a few walking distance dining options in the mini-mall, the 'strip center' adjacent to the Islander parking lot, and the highway side strip center about .4 mile a way (which is easily accessible via a quiet back street). At minimum, try the Fish Market restaurant/café. We actually got the chicken plate which was tasty. The beach access is great. While the waves can be a little wearisome and the sand quite loose, the seclusion of the beach was ideal and was good to get your beach fix in after a long day of sightseeing. It was also a great setting for watching a sunrise. The unit itself is well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. All this at a very affordable rate with no parking fees! In addition the owner, Veronica, was very responsive and helpful with getting our reservation set up. I highly recommend unit #240 at the Islander on the Beach resort.
“Best all around studio location”
This was our third stay in one of Veronica's studios. For us who come here for total relaxation & minimum driving it's ideal. Magnificent Pacific Ocean right in front, beautiful beach nearby, Coconut Market Place next door with good restaurants, shops & Hawaiian cultural center, etc., ocean front path for long walks & bicycle riding. An ideal location near Kapaa whether you're going North or South. Room 147 is the ideal location being close to pool. A beautiful studio with all one could wish for. We'll keep coming here & highly recommend.
Stayed at Unit 240 Islander on the Beach 1 week ago and was an excellent value. It was close to restaurants and shopping and we were able to walk to and from dinner. The unit was spotless and had a great view of the ocean and pool area. Used the BBQ area one evening to cook our Tuna caught fishing that day. Parking is minimal, but is available on the street close by if not in the parking lot.
“65th Birthday Celebration in Romantic Setting”
We stayed in two beautiful condos during our two week stay in Kauai. Both had comfortable beds and kitchenettes, lanai's and ocean views. Our stay in 116 allowed us to walk out onto the lanai and quickly capture pictures of sunrises or whales breaching. Also colorful birds with fantastic vocals were close by. The view from 240 was stunning, and rivaled those in the best restaurants. We often ate on the balcony, which offered a birds-eye view of flowering trees, the Polynesian pool and the Pacific Ocean in the background. Bill and I were thrilled with the accommodations in particular, and the island as a whole. Ellen
“Clean, quiet and convenient to ocean and stores.”
Rented for several weeks and it was perfect for one person, even two,for that length of time. It was clean, quiet, safe and convenient to the ocean and stores and restaurants. A lovely walkway along the ocean front. Wonderful pool and hot tub. My daughter lives in Kapaa and she was also impressed with the room and location. There was a laundry I could use and free wifi in the lobby of the hotel. I will definitely return there when I go back again. Judy
